I received a rather alarming phone call from someone claiming that if I didn’t settle my tax bill immediately, a warrant would be issued against me. According to him, my alleged tax fraud was a grave matter pending in court. He was incredibly forceful and quite full of himself. After listening to his bluster for long enough, I realised it was all nonsense and promptly decided to block his number.

I’ve been getting constant calls from them, claiming they can help me reduce my debt and only pay a small part of it. What really freaked me out was that they already had my email... not sure how they got it.

Got calls from some weird folks claiming to be with Scot Debt or something, no clue what that even means. I ended up telling the cops and also got in touch with the benefits office about it. These strange calls keep asking for bank details and the 3-digit pin on cards, which sounds dodgy as hell. Watch out for these scammers!
