They keep ringing non stop, so i block them but they just swap a number or two and call again. They always call really early like it’s urgent, but it’s not. It’s just nasty behaviour from some rude people.

Unlike what some ppl are saying, when i got a call from this number it was a robocall pretending to be Amazon telling me I'd been charged £79 for Amazon Prime. So this number is being used for the Amazon Prime scam, not just BT.

A woman with an Indian accent called saying she was from BT, telling me I had to switch off my internet for two days to fix some issue. She got quite pushy when I questioned her about it. In the end, I just hung up. They rang back immediately, but this time I let it go to voicemail.

Got a call saying my bt open reach broadband is running slow. I told him I’m not with bt and he goes “wow you’re not with bt?!” all shocked and over the top. I just said no and he just put the phone down on me.

Got a robocall pretending to be from Amazon, saying I got charged over £70 for Prime membership and gave some sketchy links to click on. I didn’t bother with the links but immediately checked my Amazon account, and I wasn’t charged anything for Prime. Definitely a scam and could be risky if anyone actually clicks on those links.

I’ve had numerous calls to my house from someone purporting to be from BT, insisting that my internet had been compromised and was being misused for nefarious purposes. It was a foreign woman on the line. I told her I didn’t see this as a problem affecting me, thanked her for the heads-up, and promptly ended the conversation. She kept calling back in quick succession, but I chose to ignore her repeated attempts.

Some bloke called saying there was something wrong with my internet and they'd help me fix it. I played along, then let the call drop. They kept ringing me back for a bit but eventually I picked up and said I'd reported them to the cops. We ended up having a bit of a row before he hung up and called me names. Yesterday got a call from a young Indian woman chatting about the internet, I suspected it was a scam so I played along for a bit, then she ended the call after a few mins. About an hour later an Indian man rang, sounded dodgy so I just hung up. Today got another call, I said hello but told them couldn’t hear as the telly was loud, they quickly hung up. Added them to the block list. They’re definitely targeting vulnerable folks!
