Right from the start, the call just waits for you to say something, which then kinda activates the connection, and that’s a trick they use - it’s a scam. Usually, it's those Virgin Media ones offering fake deals. The number probably gets redirected through some digital switch from overseas to make it look like it’s coming from London, UK. They seem to be using multiple numbers like this to ring all the time. The number itself is genuine, but the person you talk to definitely isn’t. Best thing is to block this number and any other similar ones that dial in.

So this number rings and when I answer no one's there, then they just hang up. I tried calling back and it goes to some “Steve Limited” but it's an automated voice straight away. If you try to get a real person, it says none are available and you can't leave a voicemail because their inbox is full. Plus, the operator's English is really bad, so it’s definitely dodgy.

Got a call from a lady who said she was with Virgin Media and was offering a 20% cut on my bill. When I asked her what my current monthly charge was, she couldn’t answer. As soon as I questioned her, the call ended abruptly. Pretty sure it was a scam.

So, Virgin calling me out of the blue... They asked how much my bill was, like I’m supposed to have that info on hand! Then this person says they’re from some department trying to help cut costs. I told them I’d share my bill only if they could tell me my name first, since just asking for a bill doesn’t prove they’re legit. Ended up with the line just being cut off by them 😂

foley park dental surgery - i've used them for ages now and honestly, i'd tell anyone to check them out! after struggling loads with bad dentists and hygienists before, finally found one that really knows their stuff. it took me a long time to get here though.

They were so pushy about selling some investment scheme, it got really annoying! I even had one bloke threaten me on the phone, saying they’d keep ringing non-stop until I said yes to what they wanted. Totally over the top.

Someone claiming to be from O2 called me about a 30% discount on my phone contract. It didn’t feel quite right. Then they asked me to stay on the call for a whole minute.
