I had a rather peculiar experience when I picked up the phone and greeted the caller. It turned out to be a call centre representing Virgin Media’s sales department. However, when I requested them to verify the details of their call, they promptly disconnected. Quite bizarre, really!

Received a call from an outfit claiming to be Warwickshire Media, but it's not a name I'm familiar with at all. If they don’t ask for me directly and instead launch into a “How are you today?” routine, I’m usually rather suspicious. The caller's accent sounded distinctly Indian, which made me even more wary. At this point, I've taken to just hanging up. They even tried to reach me with a slightly altered number: 02045204803.

I've been receiving calls from an array of numbers that bear a striking resemblance to one another. It's quite maddening! Just when I manage to block one, another pops up with a slightly altered digit, usually within a matter of hours.

I received a rather pesky voicemail urging me to hit either 1 or 9. I swiftly deleted it and took the precaution of blocking this bothersome number. I'd recommend others do the same if they find themselves in a similar situation!

I received a call from the number 020452004408 on Saturday, the 21st of May, 2022, at around 19:43. Luckily, I was behind the wheel, so even with hands-free, I chose not to respond. My phone revealed it was a London number, and seeing as I don’t know anyone in that area, my curiosity was piqued. After the fact, I looked it up and my device flagged it as a possible scam. It was quite fortunate that my phone promptly ended the call on its own! I must admit, I approach all unknown calls with a healthy dose of wariness.
