Got a call from some lady with a really thick Indian accent claiming to be from BT, saying my internet was hacked or something. I told her to sod off since I’m not even a BT customer. Absolute scammers, don’t fall for it!

i got a call from a woman who said she was with bt. she spoke quite well but had a foreign accent. she told me there was a problem with my internet and that someone was trying to hack into it. i listened but just ended the call quickly, felt like it wasn’t really bt since they usually call from 0800 numbers. she tried ringing back a few times after i’d hung up.
