Received an unexpected phone call from a rather impolite individual. They became quite confrontational when I expressed my lack of interest in the product they were trying to peddle. To top it all off, it appears they aren't even a legitimate business in the field they purport to operate in. Definitely a scam-stay alert!

Received a rather dodgy phone call today; the caller was probing about the details of my life insurance payments. It felt a bit off, to say the least!

Received a call purportedly regarding my life insurance, but the caller seemed overly eager for personal information. When I began to inquire about which company she represented, her patience waned. As soon as I mentioned my reluctance to share any details, she promptly terminated the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

A company called NFE or something similar rang me up asking whether I have life insurance and then proceeded to inquire about my mortgage. I straight away questioned their identity, stating I’d prefer to know who I was speaking with before disclosing any personal details. I asked firmly what their intentions were, prompting me to consider sharing my information. The caller replied rather dismissively, suggesting it didn't matter if I responded or not. I countered, explaining that the crux of the matter was their unknown status, and I had no intention of handing over my private details to someone who had contacted me out of the blue. After that, he abruptly terminated the call.

Received a call about life insurance. Truth be told, I haven't got any life insurance at all. But instead of telling him straight away, I allowed him to ramble on for a good ten minutes before revealing I don’t have any. His reaction was quite over the top; he sounded absolutely furious and abruptly hung up on me. I can't help but wish he's having a right rotten day!

Some bloke claimed to be calling from a life insurance firm. Total scam, probably phishing.

I saw what everyone else was saying and decided to just block that number.

A caller reached out regarding my life insurance policy. They claimed to represent various firms, yet when I inquired about the specific company I had my policy with, they couldn't provide an answer. That struck me as quite odd, so I decided to end the call.

I received a call from them claiming they were checking up on my life insurance, particularly since it seemed a staggering £75 million in claims had gone unpaid this year. Surely, such a tale would have made headlines! They knew my name and phone number, which was a tad unsettling. When I probed them for more information, the conversation stalled after I requested clarification. I spent a good six minutes on the line as they insisted I share personal details, but I was adamant about not disclosing anything. One never knows how such information might be misused. The moment I mentioned I had previously fallen victim to fraud and refused to share further details to avoid a repeat experience, they abruptly hung up. It's clear to me you can draw your own conclusions as to whether these callers are genuine or simply a ruse.

I'm looking to double-check my life insurance to see if anything has altered over the past 15 years.

It only rang a single time, which I found a bit odd. Wonder if it's some third-party firm that earns money based on how many calls they make? Not sure why they wouldn't let it ring longer though.

They claimed to be from MEH, but I’m rather dubious about their true identity. It’s hard to say if they were genuinely who they professed to be.

Absolutely! I was contacted as well, with them mentioning Dennis Publishing and requesting my bank information.
