It’s unfortunate that individuals like her tarnish the image of their entire community. Of course, not everyone can be pigeonholed in such a manner. Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT Business, saying our bills would jump by 30% if we didn’t renew with them. The bloke sounded quite pushy, had a thick accent, maybe Pakistani, and when I refused, his supervisor called and was just as aggressive. Proper shady behaviour, made me really uncomfortable.

Complete con artists! Got a call saying my bt contract was nearly up, which is laughable since I don’t even have one with them (it’s not like it’s the 90s or anything). When I asked for evidence, the guy just kept stammering, “How do I prove that, mate?” Absolute joke! Received a call earlier today. My mate picked up and the caller claimed they needed to speak to someone named George, which was quite odd since there's no George in our office. Received a call earlier today. My coworker picked up the phone and the caller stated he needed to have a chat with George-rather odd, as there’s nobody by that name in the office. This morning I got a call from this number where the bloke said he was with my phone provider and wanted to help lower my bill. Got a call from 0204 520 1525 saying they were from BT Broadband, which is my provider. I asked them if they could tell me who’s on my account, how long I've had the service, and my monthly payment. Obviously a con! Don’t fall for it.

Someone rang up asking for the manager, said it was about a BT broadband and phone line, which we don’t actually have. The caller had a strong South Asian accent. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone pretending to be BT, telling me I’d got an upgrade. I only switched to BT a fortnight ago, so I was suspicious there’s no way they’d offer an upgrade that quick. Looked up the number online and, surprise surprise, it’s a scam. They kept ringing back even after I dropped the call. Ended up asking BT to block the number for me. Proper dodgy and annoying harassment.

Got a call from an Asian guy with a really heavy accent, couldn't catch everything he was saying. He was trying to get us to sign up for something we already have with BT. Asked me to come up with a password using stuff that’s personal and easy to remember. That really set off warning bells right away! So frustrating that he somehow managed to get hold of my mobile number.

Today I got a call at work from a guy claiming to be from Drax Energy, saying our contract was about to end. He wouldn’t listen when my mate told him to email us if we're customers and just to stop ringing. After we hung up, he rang straight back and kept pushing, which was way over the top!

This sounded dodgy to me, probably a scam or some kind of fraud. It was a bloke, Asian, saying he could sort out an upgrade for our business broadband. But what business does he think we run?

I've had loads of calls from various numbers, all claiming they want to improve our business broadband speed. Turns out they were after getting into our company's computer system. I did my best to stall them so I could report the scam to fraud action. Proper annoying!

Got a call from someone claiming our British Gas contract was about to expire and we needed to renew it. Problem is, British Gas doesn't even supply our place. The person on the phone had a really strong Asian accent, and I struggled to follow what they were saying. I just told them to send any info to the company's enquiries email and hung up.

I had this bloke call me twice yesterday and once again today, sounded like he had an Indian accent. He said he was from Opus Energy and wanted to chat about my contract that’s nearly up. When I asked him for the contract number, he just went quiet and then abruptly ended the call. Smells like it could be a scam to me.
