I had a rather alarming phone call the other day. They were essentially warning me that I might face police intervention and be taken in if I failed to return their call. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

So, I've just received a call from HMRC, and they're warning me that ignoring them could land me in serious hot water... 🤬

Oh, you won’t believe it! I had this chap from London, small in stature and quite Asian, ringing me up, insisting I hadn’t settled my taxes. I’m on PAYE, mate! What a joke! 🖕🏻

Received a rather alarming message from HMRC, claiming that they'll be issuing an arrest warrant if I don't ring this number. Quite concerning, I must say!

Taxman calling, eh? What's the fuss about then?

I received a rather strange call today, an artificial voice asserting that they were from HMRC, warning me that ignoring the call would constitute a criminal act. Quite frankly, I found it baffling, as I'm just a 16-year-old who hasn’t opened a bank account, let alone have any debts or property to my name. It’s odd how they think someone my age could be tangled up in such matters!

I received an automated call featuring a woman's voice claiming I’ve committed a criminal act with HMRC, threatening me with an arrest warrant if I don’t respond. They repeated the phone number I’m supposed to ring back not once, but three times! And of course, it was the very same number from which they rang me. It’s honestly quite laughable!

I was informed that I’d be taken into custody-what a laugh! It's astonishing the lengths some individuals will go to with their scams. Honestly, who would fall for that? No formal correspondence, just a robot throwing around threats. Seriously? That’s more likely to fool someone who’s just stepped off the bus from nursery!

Earlier today, I got yet another one of those automated phone calls. The voice on the line claimed to be from HMRC and urged me to ring a number concerning a supposed criminal matter. They warned that failure to respond would lead to an arrest warrant being issued. It’s clearly a scam and utterly fraudulent!

I experienced something remarkably similar just after noon, and I'm also 16 years old.
