This chap keeps giving me a bell from various numbers. The latest call was about the warranty for my washing machine!

I got a call from some company saying they wanted to check info about my washing machine warranty. Thing is, the call sounded off from the start. They asked for my husband's name, which didn’t make sense since the plan's in my name. When I said I wasn’t interested and told them to buzz off, they didn’t seem pleased. Pretty sure it was a dodgy scam call trying to trick me.

Total scam, just cut the call. Really dodgy stuff.

Just got called about some kind of insurance for my appliances, sounded like a total scam to me. Watch out, folks!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from appliance care, saying my appliance cover from last year had run out and that I could have a £95 discount 'cause I’m a pensioner. Problem was, the address he mentioned was way outdated! I thought those cold calls were banned? Sounds like some dodgy call centre to me. Complete scam!

It took ages before someone just said "Hello, is this Mrs ..." I told them it was the wrong number since they were asking for the people who lived here over 10 years ago! The call didn’t really go anywhere after that.

Somebody rang me up saying we had insurance for our washing machine, which isn’t the case at all. The lady said the policy ran out and offered to renew it cheaper, but I mentioned my card had just gone out of date. That bit was actually correct, but how on earth did she find that out? Then she wanted my new card details, and I just ended the call there.

She said it was about renewing my insurance, but I told her the fees were so steep I'd rather just get a new one instead. That pretty much ended the chat, haha.

Hello there! I've been receiving persistent calls from the numbers 074785353 and 02039300532. I've attempted to block them repeatedly, but it seems futile as they just keep ringing through. I've now blocked around twenty different numbers, yet the nuisance continues unabated!

Got a call earlier and my son picked up. They kept insisting he had some appliances, which he definitely doesn’t. The woman on the line got quite rude after a bit, so my son just hung up.

Got a call that said it was from overseas. Let it go to voicemail but it just hung up. Afterwards, I looked up the number since it definitely wasn’t from another country.

My missus got a call from someone about some appliance insurance thing, but honestly, it was tough to follow 'cause the person had a thick accent and English clearly wasn't their first language. Definitely feels dodgy to me. Watch out, it's probably a scam.

Got a call from this number and all I could hear was a bunch of women yelling in the background. Then it told me to press 1 if I wanted to accept or whatever. Didn’t press anything, seemed dodgy as hell, definitely a scam. Don’t pick up!

It's the same old scam about home appliances. I keep saying yes, yes, yes, and they just hang up. What a bunch of wankers.

Got a ring from this number just as I was about to have my evening cuppa yesterday. The person asked for me using a name I once made up for dodgy paperwork, then tried to pitch some insurance renewal for a kitchen gadget I’ve never even bought. Definitely a scam and he wasn’t too happy when I called him out on it.

I received a phone call today that claimed my parents' appliance warranty had run out. The caller attempted to extract their bank details, but fortunately, I managed to block the call before they succeeded. Thank goodness for that!

I got a call where the person actually used my name and sounded quite friendly at first. But then, she mentioned something about renewing a warranty on my electrical stuff and instantly I got suspicious. The timing was off and the company I deal with never makes calls like that, so I was pretty sure it was a scam.

Oi, just got a call from some bloke claiming to be calling about renewing my appliance cover, said he was with Domestic & General or sumthin. First thing he does is ask me to confirm my bank details like my sort code and account number, which sounded dodgy as hell. Told him exactly where to shove it and then ended the call. Sorted him out by blocking the number straight away using Sky Shield. Don’t fall for it!

I’m on the brink of losing the warranty on my washing machine, which I've had for about three to four years now. Unfortunately, I've never had any sort of cover. A well-spoken woman with a foreign accent just called to discuss it, but I told her I’ve received around twenty calls like hers in the last couple of years. I made it clear that I would be checking 1471 and reporting this nonsense to the authorities. I sincerely urge you to take action against these callers. With the recent loss of my wife, I'm still in mourning and I really don’t need these disruptive and unsavoury calls coming through.

Keeps ringing about renewing insurance for my electrical stuff, which I don’t even have. Told them loads of times already. Such a pain, feels like a total scam!

This call felt a bit suspicious right from the start. The person claimed they needed to verify my info before renewing some kind of insurance for electrical stuff. Since I don’t actually have any such cover at the moment, I reckon this was probably a scam or some kind of phishing attempt.

Some bloke called me saying he was from a company that covers your electrical stuff in the house. Sounded dodgy as hell and when I asked him a few things, he just wouldn’t reply properly. Seemed like a total con to me.
