Got a call claiming to be from PayPal, saying they needed to check some big purchase and wanted remote access to my computer because I hadn’t got any email about it. When I asked how long they expected me to waste on this, he just ended the call. The guy definitely wasn’t local - his accent sounded like he was from India.

Got a call from a random number that showed up as 'number unrecognised', even though I’m on the TPS register. Definitely dodgy, steer clear!

There was a loud foreign accent, sounded like he was calling from some sort of call centre. He claimed to be from the NHS and asked for my email to send a vaccine certificate. He said they already had my phone number and address which honestly freaked me out a bit. I foolishly gave him my email, though it's pretty public info for me anyway, but nothing else. I kept it civil, but you could tell he caught on that I was quite doubtful, so I ended the call.

Some bloke called Alex claiming to be from Amazon, said he'd emailed me about some fraud stuff. I looked but there was nothing in my inbox. Then he asked me for my email, so I asked what exactly he had to say, and he just hung up. Pretty obvious scam, but I wanted to play along a bit to see what he was up to.

I got a call from someone sayin' they're with the NHS and wanted to check my vaccine info. They asked for stuff they should already have on file though, which seemed a bit dodgy. When I asked why they needed it, the person just ended the call straight away. Pretty fishy if you ask me!

Got a call from a woman saying she was with the NHS, offering to send me a "COVID vaccine certificate". When I asked some questions, she claimed I'd be banned from leaving my home without it (!) and that the certificate would let me visit hospitals or clinics without needing a test. Obviously, this was rubbish and just a scam. Don’t hand over any details to callers like this, not even your name.

Got a call from a bloke claiming he was with the NHS. He never once checked my name. Asked if I’d had my vaccinations, and I said I’d had two already. Then he wanted to know if I’d had Covid before, and if I suffer from diabetes or high blood pressure. I said no to all. Then he asked how many folks live here, so I asked what he needed that info for. He just hung up on me. Don't think he even knew where I live.

Just now - I spotted this was a dodgy call straight off. The guy said he was from "Amazon security" but when I didn’t play along with his fake chit-chat about how I was doing, and asked why he was ringin’ me, he got rude real quick. After a bit of back and forth, he actually said he was just calling to bother me. I hung up and blocked the number immediately.

Just got a call not long ago, sounded like it was from overseas, someone saying they were with the NHS. Started off asking about COVID jabs and who I’ve been in touch with. Then they wanted to know if anyone else lives with me. When I asked how they got my number, they suddenly hung up. Really dodgy!

I got a call from this number, and right away there was that weird silence, then a click - classic sign of those scam calls from Indian call centres. A woman said she was with the NHS and wanted to ask about my vaccine status. She didn’t even bother checking if she had the right person by asking my name. When I told her I'd had the first jab, she looked confused, which made me suspicious since anyone from the NHS would know what "jab one" means. Then she asked for my email, saying she’d send my vaccination certificate. I told her no way, you’re a scammer, and just hung up.
