I received a call from this number, along with a few others, and I can tell they're not the real deal. Now I just have a laugh with it. If it's a bloke on the line, I act all flirty and pretend to be interested in him, asking all sorts of cheeky questions. When they get riled up, I hit them with something like, "I prefer to be in charge; do you fancy wearing leather?" It usually ends in some four-letter insults! I keep my phone on loud so all my colleagues can join in on the hilarity; they find it absolutely hilarious!

What a dreadful encounter! My poor wife nearly collapsed when she found herself on the line with those despicable con artists from HMRC! They were harping on about jail time unless she coughed up her taxes right there and then. I quickly grabbed the handset and had a few choice words with those lowlifes! It’s apparent that this sort of trickery is rampant, particularly from those unscrupulous call centres in India, robbing innocent folk in the West out of millions. They’ve called me twice already, using this number and another one that starts with 0161, which I think is Manchester. Both times it’s been a scam. The automated voice is a woman claiming to be from HMRC, but she sounds American, which is suspicious. I wouldn’t pick up if I were you - just block them straight away. Genuine HMRC stuff always comes through official letters with proper government letterheads, never random calls. This scam is pretty dodgy and could scare people, so best not to engage at all. I've received another one of those infuriating calls, this time from an individual pretending to be from HMRC. They were spouting some frightful nonsense about my taxes and even had the audacity to threaten absurd government measures. It’s truly concerning how these scams continue to circulate!
