Got a voicemail from a woman speaking with a US accent claiming to be from HMRC. She said something about needing me to call back or my solicitor to get in touch or else I’d face some sort of trouble. Weirdly, she finished off with "take care," which just doesn’t sound right for any official government call. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so I’ve reported it to the cops to check it out.

I received a call from this number, along with a few others, and I can tell they're not the real deal. Now I just have a laugh with it. If it's a bloke on the line, I act all flirty and pretend to be interested in him, asking all sorts of cheeky questions. When they get riled up, I hit them with something like, "I prefer to be in charge; do you fancy wearing leather?" It usually ends in some four-letter insults! I keep my phone on loud so all my colleagues can join in on the hilarity; they find it absolutely hilarious!

What a dreadful encounter! My poor wife nearly collapsed when she found herself on the line with those despicable con artists from HMRC! They were harping on about jail time unless she coughed up her taxes right there and then. I quickly grabbed the handset and had a few choice words with those lowlifes! It’s apparent that this sort of trickery is rampant, particularly from those unscrupulous call centres in India, robbing innocent folk in the West out of millions. When I got a bit fed up, she said I’d have to deal with the police and then she cut me off. Without a doubt a SCAM! Got a call from 02038969902 today, 13/09/2019, mid-afternoon. When I checked my answerphone, there was this automated lady saying she was 'Officer Annie Davies'. The message sounded quite menacing and could easily scare someone, particularly older folk or those who might be vulnerable. Best just to block this number.
