Dialled me at 14:47 today, saying they were looking into me for tax fraud. They told me if I ended the call, they'd send out an arrest warrant. I just ended the call, didnt trust it.

Got a call from 08693957105 on Thursday the 6th of August at 8:55 in the morning. Didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave any voicemail or anything. The number isn’t in my contacts or anything, so it’s a bit mysterious.

This annoying number keeps ringin me, with some automated voice about the tax man. It asks me to hit 1 but then keeps me waiting ages on the line. Proper pain!

This call is really harmful, especially to elderly and vulnerable folks. It ought to be shut down straight away.

I'd say just block the number right away! They mentioned something about the Inland Revenue and said to ring them back, threatening legal action if you don't. Don't even risk it, just block the number!

I got a call from 020 3896 9745 and when I picked up, some automated message was going on about the Inland Revenue. Didn’t pay much attention, but they mentioned something about needing an urgent reply because of tax fraud or money owed. I just ended the call and put the number straight on my block list.

Got a call from 020 3896 5112 on my phone but didn’t pick up since the number was unfamiliar. Later, I got an automated voicemail asking me to ring back but there were no specifics given, so I just ignored it. I did save the number though, as it looks quite similar to that dodgy HMRC scam number ending in 5105. If it were actually from HMRC, I’m sure they’d send a proper letter through the post. I’ve had fake HMRC emails before claiming I was owed a refund and trying to get my personal details - no way I fell for that!

I let it ring out and then got a voicemail from some robotic voice claiming to be an officer (couldn’t catch the name) from the “inland revenue.” They said to call back or have a solicitor do so, or else “prepare to face the consequences.” What a joke! These scammers are really bold this time. Honestly, it’s sad if anyone’s daft or naive enough to fall for this and send them cash.
