4 yearsEarly this morning at about 8.47, my 91 year old mate got a call from this number asking for money to renew her insurance. She told them she’d just woken up from a heavy sleep and didn’t have her bank card handy, but they kept pushing her to go downstairs and get her bank info. She eventually went downstairs but then thought it might be a scam, so she told them her daughter handles all her finances. They kept calling back, but she was too scared to answer after that.4 yearsI picked up this number 02038831145 and a lady just said hi, then there was silence... quite odd really.4 yearsGot a call from a woman claiming to be from “Home Serve Insurance.” She insisted I’d signed up for a two-year policy back in September 2020 and supposedly paid over £140 all at once. I never pay like that - always monthly! Then, she went on to say I was tagged as a low-risk customer and offered me a discounted one-off payment of about £100 for a year, with the next year supposedly free. Told her straight-up she was talking nonsense (used a harsher word though) and called it a scam before ending the call.Home Serve Insurance Company4 yearsHad a guy call me, proper argumentative, saying he was some expert on my washing machine - turns out he thought it was a top loader, which it isn’t, it’s a front loader! Then he claimed he’d get my insurance back on, even though I’ve never had one and wouldn’t bother. I’m on the TPS too, but he just wouldn’t take no for an answer, so I had to just hang up.Telephone Preference Service4 yearsGot a call on the 26th of August 2022 but it just went to voicemail, no message left or nothing.4 yearstried looking up this number but nothing showed up anywhere, no details at all.Submit Your Own Report (020 3883 1145)
