The caller had the audacity to request payment for an insurance renewal. When she explained that she had just woken from a sound sleep and didn’t have her bank card handy, they pressed her to go downstairs to fetch her banking details. Though she did venture downstairs, she soon realised it smelled a bit fishy and wisely told them that her daughter managed her finances. After that, the persistent callers kept trying to reach her, but bless her, she was far too anxious to answer the phone again.4 yearsI picked up the phone from 02038831145, and a lady greeted me with a simple "hello." Honestly, I thought I must be in some sort of farce; I told her that what she was saying was absolutely outrageous (used a word that means something similar) and quite frankly a scam.
