Received a rather raucous call from a call centre that clearly mispronounced my name when they introduced themselves. I'm quite convinced these are dodgy characters up to no good. Best to steer clear and not engage with them.

Absolutely dodgy! The caller informed me that my electricity cover with HomeServe was about to expire. When I clarified that I didn’t even have such a cover, they persisted in asking about my previous payments. I kept reiterating that I wasn’t subscribed to anything like that, and eventually, they just cut the line. Quite the scam, if you ask me!

I had quite the experience with a rather loud call centre from abroad. I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to strike up a chat with them!
