The phone keeps buzzing but they never bother to leave a message.

They’ve called me a couple of times. I usually just ignore it but after seeing some of the comments, I think I ordered some seeds from Spring Watch (never actually received them tho) so maybe it’s some group like Friends of the Earth trying to get in touch. I already support the RSPB with donations, so I’m not giving to anyone else!

That's quite something. Like others here, I messaged BBC Springwatch, and it seems like they shared or sold my number too? I didn’t pick up since I never answer calls from numbers I don’t know, and I’m just gonna block it now.

Looks like it was mates from Friends of the Earth. A really nice bloke rang me up to chat about the charity and somehow persuaded me to sign up for a fiver a month donation, which I thought was quite reasonable.

If I really had ordered seeds and gave my number, why wouldn’t they have the rest of my info to just send them straight? Something about this doesnt sit right with me.

After seeing the other comments, I recalled I once signed up on a Change UK site for some free flower seeds. It’s all to do with the bee colonies dying off and the knock-on effect on our food supply, or so they say. Good thing I never got back to them though, I wouldn’t have been able to fork out £30.
