Normally, I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t recognise, but for some reason, I did this time-perhaps it was sheer curiosity. Upon answering, there was a pause where the caller said nowt for a few seconds before they abruptly hung up. All I caught was a bit of mumbling in the background, but nothing more. Quite odd, really!

I'm pretty sure this number is connected to a dodgy lottery scam I nearly got caught out by recently. They ring you up claiming you've won 10 free lottery tickets and then ask for your bank info so they can put your "winnings" straight in. What they don't mention is that they're sneaky enough to start charging you £54 every month from your account. Honestly, best to stay well clear of it.

Got a call saying I’d won 10 free lottery tickets for 26 Feb 2020 and they wanted to post them to me. When I asked where they got my number, they claimed it was from a survey I’d done and a box I supposedly ticked to get more info. I’ve never ticked anything or done any survey. Told them I don’t even play the lottery, so they can send the tickets to someone else. Seemed really fishy, normally I wouldn’t pick up these calls. Nothing in life is free! Ended up blocking the number. Heads up - don’t pick up if you get a call like this.

It's rather curious how they were aware of my name and address, only to later inform me that I had supposedly won ten lottery tickets. Alas, nothing ever turned up!

I got a call from someone claiming I’d won free lottery tickets and that I could join a syndicate for just 5p a line over three months. They said I could enter loads of times for about £12 a week. They kept trying to pressure me into giving my bank details, but I didn’t fall for it. The woman said she’d ring back - fingers crossed she actually does, might be my chance to have a bit of fun with them!

I got a call yesterday, the 10th of Feb, from someone claiming to be with the national lottery saying I'd won 10 free lucky dips. They kept going on about what I'd do with the winnings and all that. I just told them I'd think about it! Proper cheeky bloke on the phone. Then he tried to get me into some syndicate thing, but I wasn’t having it. Said he’d ring back to check how I was getting on with the tickets that were meant to arrive in a day or two for the 19th of Feb. We’ll see what happens!
