Received a call from this number, an individual with a distinctly English accent, rather likely from London or the southern regions. He appeared to have personal knowledge of my name and address. The chap was promoting some kind of lottery syndicate and seemed to suggest a link with the national lottery, citing concerns over dwindling ticket sales. He offered me 30 free lucky dips if I participated in a few questions, one of which was what I'd do if I won a staggering £20 million. He mentioned the syndicate was made up of 280 members, pooling together 280 tickets each week. Interestingly, he requested my bank details to establish a direct debit after the trial period, assuring me I could cancel at any time.
