Blimey, I must say, I had a cracking experience with these chaps! They were ever so accommodating. They explained that they represent Sky, Talk Talk, and Virgin Media. In no time, they facilitated my switch from Virgin Media to Talk Talk, and lo and behold, my bills have taken a nosedive! I’m thoroughly chuffed with the service I’m now getting.

I recently stumbled upon some rather concerning details regarding a man who approached my elderly mother. He never revealed his identity, instead leading her to believe he was affiliated with Sky and could significantly reduce her bill. It was only at the very end of the conversation that he disclosed he intended to switch her over to TalkTalk. Whether he’s operating legitimately or not, his behaviour was rather shady and deceptive, making it seem as though he was trying to trick her. Interestingly, he bore the same name, Michael Williams, as someone mentioned in another account. If this individual is genuinely trustworthy and above board, then why is the phone number they provide - supposedly to validate their credibility - completely unreachable when dialled? They come across as nothing more than scammers!

I received a call from someone claiming to be Michael Williams, supposedly an employee with the number 2241. He provided me with the phone number 02037525018 and requested my bank details, insisting he was from Sky. He even went as far as to send me a confirmation email regarding my delivery. However, when I attempted to call that number back, it appears to be out of service or unreachable. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

My other half got a call on my home landline from a bloke called Jordan claiming he was from Sky and had a special offer for current customers about the new Sky Q box. I was actually thinking of switching to Sky Q since we’d just bought a new telly. So I called them back and an Asian lady answered, then quickly handed me over to an Asian guy who said his name was David Williams! After I told him my name, he already had all my Sky info, like my account number, how much I pay each month and loads more.

They kept pushing a deal, dropping the price by about 25%, but when I asked more questions, it all felt off. I told them to call me back in an hour and got in touch with Sky, who say they’re now investigating. Looking up the address they gave, 1 Portal Way W3 6RS, it actually turns up as TalkTalk’s location!! Then, within an hour, I got two calls from 0121 389 0850 just minutes apart but I didn’t pick up. Feels like they’ve somehow gotten my info through dodgy means. This definitely looks like a scam, so be careful!

They said they were ringing from Simplyfied Digital (which is an actual company) and wanted to pitch a better broadband and phone deal. They already knew my name and kept probing for my address and info about my Sky subscription. They promised unlimited broadband, landline rental, and calls all for a ridiculously low price of £21 a month. Even though the woman on the phone sounded calm, polite, and spoke English well, it was obvious to me that they're scammers.

They rang just before 6:30pm and wanted to speak to someone else living here. I told them that person was away on holiday, then they started pressing me on who I was. I said, “I’m another person living here.” Their response? “That’s not what I asked, you didn’t answer me properly.” I refused to give my name and hung up. Their accent suggests they're from overseas, and I can't say for sure if they’re genuinely offering broadband services. However, it seems my locality is one of those notorious “dead spots” for broadband connectivity, and she was contacting patrons of various renowned companies, none of which I have ever had dealings with. I informed her of these two crucial points and politely requested, "Could you refrain from calling me again?" Unfortunately, she appeared to struggle with grasping or accepting what I was saying.

I’m utterly fed up with this number pestering me daily. No matter how many times I ignore the calls, they just leave a voicemail. It says to press 5 for some information pack and 9 if I wish to opt out of these incessant calls. So, I press 9, only to be told that I can't send a message to this number. Received a call from someone claiming to be with Broadband Choices, and they even had the cheek to mention my name. This is the fourth time they've tried to reach me today alone! I've gone ahead and blocked this number for calls and texts, but I'm sure they'll just find some other means to bother me... How tiresome!

I've been getting calls from this number, 02037525018, around two or three times daily. They claim to be from a company named Discovering Broadband, and it's becoming quite bothersome. They even have the nerve to ring me at half past seven in the evening! It's rather frustrating, and you'd think they'd take the hint when I don't pick up the phone anymore.

Many of these digits are churned out by an automated system and are equipped with voice recognition. If you happen to greet them with a "hello," you'll quickly be connected to a real person.
