I found these folks quite useful actually. They explained properly that they deal with Sky, Talk Talk, and Virgin Media as retailers. After chatting with them, I got moved over from Virgin Media to Talk Talk, and now my bills have gone down quite a bit. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how things turned out with the new provider.

My mum's older, and some bloke never told her who he really was. He convinced her he worked for Sky and could lower her bill. Only at the last minute did he admit he was signing her up with TalkTalk. Whether they are legit or not, their sneaky way of not being upfront to trick folks is awful. Funny enough, he had the same name, Michael Williams, like another comment I saw. If they were truly honest and above board, why does the phone number they give for “credibility” just not work when you call it?? Total scam.

No joke, these folks were brilliant! After dealing with BT and all their nonsense, these guys showed me the light. Managed to cut over a hundred quid off my bills thanks to their help. Switched over to Sky now and honestly, couldn’t be happier. Would definitely team up with them again.

My other half got a call on my home landline from a bloke called Jordan claiming he was from Sky and had a special offer for current customers about the new Sky Q box. I was actually thinking of switching to Sky Q since we’d just bought a new telly. So I called them back and an Asian lady answered, then quickly handed me over to an Asian guy who said his name was David Williams! After I told him my name, he already had all my Sky info, like my account number, how much I pay each month and loads more.

They kept pushing a deal, dropping the price by about 25%, but when I asked more questions, it all felt off. I told them to call me back in an hour and got in touch with Sky, who say they’re now investigating. Looking up the address they gave, 1 Portal Way W3 6RS, it actually turns up as TalkTalk’s location!! Then, within an hour, I got two calls from 0121 389 0850 just minutes apart but I didn’t pick up. Feels like they’ve somehow gotten my info through dodgy means. This definitely looks like a scam, so be careful!

Honestly, this isn’t a scam or anything dodgy. They seem to know their stuff really well. I checked out www.discoverbroadband.com and honestly, their team has a tough job but they helped me cut down my bills quite a bit each month! The number I called was 02037525018.

They said they were from Sky and had loads of my personal details. They tried to sell me Sky Fibre Broadband and asked for payment straight away. I knew something was off since fibre isn’t even offered where I live. I reported it to Sky and they told me it wasn’t them. Watch out!

They said they were ringing from Simplyfied Digital (which is an actual company) and wanted to pitch a better broadband and phone deal. They already knew my name and kept probing for my address and info about my Sky subscription. They promised unlimited broadband, landline rental, and calls all for a ridiculously low price of £21 a month. Even though the woman on the phone sounded calm, polite, and spoke English well, it was obvious to me that they're scammers.

They rang just before 6:30pm and wanted to speak to someone else living here. I told them that person was away on holiday, then they started pressing me on who I was. I said, “I’m another person living here.” Their response? “That’s not what I asked, you didn’t answer me properly.” I refused to give my name and hung up. Loads of calls from this number keep cutting out and they’ve been leaving msgs about internet stuff. They never seem to get what “opt out” means or when I ask them to remove me from their list. Sounds like they’re not even local and I’m not entirely sure they’re really selling broadband. They keep saying they’re "Discover Broadband powered by simplify digital." From what I can tell, Simplify Digital is a UK firm based in Hammersmith, but they don’t seem to be playing by the telecom rules. Honestly, avoid these lot if you can. Got a call from this number around 7.15 last night. I’ve got cerebral palsy, and was just about to put down a freshly made cuppa when the phone went - ended up spilling a bit of the hot tea on me. The woman on the line said she was calling about my broadband, but where I’m at, good broadband is pretty much non-existent. She said she was contacting people who used services from a few big providers, none of which I’ve ever had. I explained all this to her and asked nicely if she could stop calling me. She just didn’t seem to get it or believe what I was saying.

Never ever share your details with unexpected callers, especially those trying to sell stuff or push dodgy advice - they're usually scammers! Got a call from this number and answered it, all I heard was someone saying hello. The voice shifted from an African accent to what sounded like an Asian one, which made me really suspicious. Definitely wouldn’t trust it.

This number keeps ringing me non stop. I never pick up but it leaves a voice message saying to press 5 for some info pack, then press 9 to stop the calls. So I pressed 9 and it told me I can't leave a message or something like that, which is completely pointless! I’ve no clue how to block this number though, really annoying.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Broadband Choices, and they actually asked for me by name. This is the fourth time they’ve rung me today alone. I’ve already blocked their number for calls and texts, but I’m certain they’ll try some other way to bother me soon...!

Loads of these calls come from automated systems, and they’re voice responsive too. If you say "hello," you’ll suddenly get connected to a real person. But if you stay quiet, the call just ends. On the other hand, just send Pedro and the lads over to sort it!
