I've been receiving daily calls from this number ever since I inquired about my O2 contract last week. At times, the phone has rung two or even three times in one day, and they've even dared to ring on a Sunday! I haven’t picked up any of these calls, and strangely, no one has bothered to leave a voicemail. It’s rather bothersome, to say the least. However, I suspect it’s just some sort of lead generation tactic rather than anything sinister.

That call was definitely from Carphone Warehouse.

Got a call from Carphone Warehouse a few times today, they asked for my info and then just cut me off while I was still waiting on the line, seemed pretty dodgy to me.

Over the past 10 days, I’ve been bombarded with 43 calls - yes, 43! It’s from Carphone Warehouse, and honestly, they’ve just lost me as a customer. Honestly, their persistent calls and poor approach have really put me off. It’s obvious their marketing strategy isn’t working and it’s costing them valuable customers like me. Because of all the hassle, I’ve ended my contract and switched straight to EE for my new plan. By the way, if you’re not aware, you can sign up for free with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service). I actually didn’t know you could add mobile numbers as well. It might not block every call but it definitely helps cut down on the rubbish. Caller was Carphone Warehouse, just so you know!

This number just won’t stop buzzing me at odd times throughout the day. Whenever I try to text and ask who they are or tell them to knock it off, my messages just don’t go through. And if I do pick up, there’s complete silence on the other end. It’s really getting on my nerves and making me feel a bit uneasy too.

They rang me but then said they couldn’t hear what I was saying. I told them if they didn’t start talking I’d end the call. Turns out they hung up before me. Funny thing is the number showed up as Alexandria - fingers crossed it was the Palace, not somewhere in Egypt! haha

Keeps ringing me all the time from this number even though I did an upgrade with them. Tried sending STOP1 but it won't go through. Spent ages on their live chat trying to get them to quit calling me, but they just carry on. So annoying and daft. I used to be with Carphone Warehouse for my old phone, now I got a new deal with them - why can’t they just leave me alone? Can't seem to find any way to block these calls.
