I received multiple calls from this number, often letting them know it wasn’t a suitable time for me. Just yesterday, I decided to ask the caller for her name, but she promptly hung up on me! Then today, while I was still in a bit of a daze, they rang me again claiming to be from TalkTalk. I foolishly confirmed I was who they were looking for. They proceeded to ask about my experience with their service, and I honestly told them it had been terrible, as I had been without proper services for a month. I was hoping they might offer some form of compensation, but just as I thought they might actually help, they cut the line. Feeling quite suspicious, I contacted TalkTalk directly, only to find out these calls were from scammers!

I’ve received a handful of calls from this number over the past week, but they kept disconnecting. Eventually, someone claimed to be from TalkTalk and pretended they had a chat with me, using my name, which I found rather unsettling as I’m an ex-directory customer. They offered me some sort of deal for a phone, complete with 300 minutes, 250 texts, and a measly 150 MB of data. They insisted on getting my credit card details and security number, which raised my suspicions. I decided to ring TalkTalk to verify the legitimacy of this offer, only to discover they had no record of any such conversation. Now I’m really worried-could they still gain access to my account since they knew whose name they were using?

On the 2nd of April, 2015, just around midday, my phone was inundated with calls. I chose not to answer, but later I rang 1471 to find out who had been trying to reach me. I discovered that two of the calls came with no caller information while the third one was from 02037019253. It’s reasonable to suspect that all three calls might have originated from the same source. Stay safe, everyone!

I’ve been receiving calls at quite odd hours - 9:22 on the 25th, then at the rather ungodly hours of 12:29am and 6:55pm on the 27th, not to mention another one on the 30th at 12:20. Each time I answer, there’s merely a background hum, which is utterly frustrating. I’m keen to block this number as it’s becoming quite the nuisance having to keep getting up just to deal with what I suspect is a cold caller. Cheers!

Earlier today, I received a phone call (25th March 2015, not too long after the "..." comment above). The person on the other end requested to speak to the telephone account holder by name. I informed them that he wasn't available, yet they insisted they were representing TalkTalk. The background noise was quite distracting, resembling a bustling call centre, and the quality of the connection was rather poor. Moreover, to avoid any misinterpretation, it’s important to mention that the caller was a woman with an Indian accent. I can’t shake off the feeling that they weren't being entirely truthful about their identity...

You can easily set up a call-blocking service at no extra cost. I managed to do this with TalkTalk, my provider, after receiving multiple calls from a number that claimed to be from their technical support team. Luckily, I’ve got a decent grasp of technology and recognised it was a load of nonsense. I played along for a bit, following their instructions just to see how far they'd go, but when I revealed I hadn’t done any of it, they resorted to verbal abuse, which I found rather amusing. I gave as good as I got! But I do see how this sort of thing could really unsettle someone who's not as savvy with tech. I'd wager BT and other providers offer similar services to block specific numbers, so definitely reach out to your phone company. Hope this advice proves useful!

What an absolute nuisance! Honestly, I'm considering just unplugging my phone for the entire day. The situation is becoming unbearable. It’s as if I’m under siege with calls flooding in left, right and centre. At times, I feel like I'm the sole target for every telemarketer out there! It’s reached a stage where I can’t help but snap at them due to my sheer irritation. And don’t even get me started on the Telephone Preference Service - I gave them a ring, but it does little to thwart these persistent nuisances.

A totally unscrupulous lot, these so-called Bank Refunds. They bombard me with calls daily, often multiple times, and some of them are just dead air. It seems they're completely oblivious to the fact that I've registered with the Telephone Preference Service and have zero interest in what they’re peddling. I never had any PPI, so the idea of reclaiming anything is utterly ridiculous! I've told them to back off more times than I can count, but they just ramble on as if I haven't said a word. I had a rather frustrating experience with Speak Speak, as they were insistent on pushing us into a fresh SIM card contract. Despite my numerous attempts to convey that we weren’t interested, they simply ignored my requests and ended the call rather abruptly. Quite rude, if you ask me!
