It was Lotto Social ringing trying to get me to set up a direct debit for playing the lottery. I had some time to spare so I just played along to see what would happen. The first person sounded pretty desperate and ended up calling her manager. The guy was friendly at first, but once he realised he wasn’t gonna persuade me, he ended the call pretty quickly. Nothing super annoying, just a bit of a time waster. What bothered me though was that they already had my full name, address, and phone number.

Got a call off a woman claiming I was in some contest to win an iPhone 6. I told her I never signed up. She insisted I had and said I must've forgotten. I kept saying I didn’t enter. Then she called me stupid and demanded to talk to my manager. I've been getting quite a bit of hassle from Lottosocial, who seem hell-bent on offloading a whopping 200 lottery tickets. They’re relentless, to say the least! When I expressed my concerns, I was transferred to another chap who then started lecturing me on why I shouldn't fret about handing over my banking information and agreeing to a direct debit with them. Quite dubious, if you ask me!
