It was Lotto Social ringing trying to get me to set up a direct debit for playing the lottery. I had some time to spare so I just played along to see what would happen. The first person sounded pretty desperate and ended up calling her manager. The guy was friendly at first, but once he realised he wasn’t gonna persuade me, he ended the call pretty quickly. Nothing super annoying, just a bit of a time waster. What bothered me though was that they already had my full name, address, and phone number.

Got a call off a woman claiming I was in some contest to win an iPhone 6. I told her I never signed up. She insisted I had and said I must've forgotten. I kept saying I didn’t enter. Then she called me stupid and demanded to talk to my manager. She got super rude, and even after I mentioned I work in legal, she shot back with “just cause you work in law doesn’t mean you know everything.” What even? I ended the call right after that.
