Got a ring from this number today. A polite bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was Richard. He told me my direct debit was about to run out and I had to change my info. Then he called me by my daughter's name - she's been away for 7 years and the landline’s never been under her name. I said the number isn't in her name and he asked whose it was. I told him he should know if he actually worked for BT - which I don’t, by the way. Then he just called me a b*****d and hung up.

I got a call from this number 02036302175, a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from Virgin Media, saying he could help block all the spam calls I get. He said my bank info was out of date on their system from 2018, and that I needed to update it over the phone. I told him no way I’d hand over my bank details and said I’d reach out to Virgin directly instead.

Some bloke said he was ringing from a Call Blocking Service. So I asked him, “Which company or government agency is that then?” He said, “BT.” I said, “Why are you bothering me?” and he just hung up. Total scam, obviously.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Telephone Satisfaction Company. I ended the call, then they phoned straight back threatening to cut off my line if I hung up again. I just said "do your worst" and hung up. So far, my phone’s still fine, no issues at all.
