Got a call from an Asian guy who said his name was Victor, though he said it more like Wicktor. He was telling me I had serious issues with my windows. I tried to steer the chat towards conservatory windows since one of mine’s got a crack in it. He promised to fix all my windows no problem. Then I asked him how to open Windows on my MacBook, which I don’t even own. Next thing I know, he just drops the call. It made me laugh a bit, but I think he wasn’t too happy about it.

Got a call from an Asian bloke who said his name was Wicktor, though it was meant to be Victor. He went on about some big issues with my windows. I asked if he fixed conservatory windows because one of mine was busted. He said they’d fix every single window I had. Then I asked how to get to windows on my MacBook - which I don’t actually own - and he just ended the call. Made me laugh a bit, but seemed to annoy him proper.

I have an unlisted phone number, so I'm really puzzled how this guy got hold of it since we've never shared it with anyone. The only people who might have leaked it are British Telecom (BT), in my opinion!!! I received a call from a man who sounded Asian. He asked if he was speaking to Mrs ???????????? (which isn't me). I allowed him to carry on, and he said he was ringing about my computer or laptop. When I mentioned I only use a work laptop at home, he immediately hung up. Definitely a SCAMMER. Stay well clear! That was a total computer scam, couldn’t be more clear if they tried.

I answered and a woman with a strange accent was on the line. She was chuckling like it was some sort of joke or prank call, which was really odd. She tried to say her name and something about the "windows centre" but I honestly couldn’t catch what she said. I asked her to repeat herself and then she just ended the call. Definitely blocked now.

For me, if the phone cuts off after about 4 or 5 rings, it’s normally a telemarketer.

Got a weird phone call from someone claiming my laptop had sent a warning about Windows issues. Told them I don’t even own a laptop, and they just ended the call straight away.
