I recently switched my phone and had no idea this number was billing me monthly for two years, adding up to around £400. I got in touch with O2 and they managed to block the charges, but now the number they provided me is always busy when I try calling.

I’ve rung this number like three times already but still no proper reply. They promised to call me back before 5 and said I’d get my money refunded. I’ve had charges from about 5 different numbers, and each time they just tell me the same thing - that I’ll get my cash back. The bloke I spoke with was called RAEL. I’ve been in touch with 02 and they’ve blocked those numbers now, but I really need that money back since I’m on a tight budget.

I got charged twice for £4.50 each before they told me to text STOP to 65001. Mobsfun gave me that number but O2 says it’s not working. O2 said they want to assist but I don’t understand why every network can’t just block payments from Mobsfun outright. Thankfully, I’m on a pay as you go plan so my balance is down to 60p now, which means they can’t take any more money until O2 sorts this out.

I cancelled my subscription but they’re still charging my phone account, not sure whats going on!

Beware of this fraudulent call! They've obtained your number and are now billing you £4.45 every week for absolutely no reason. If you want to put a stop to it, just text "STOP" to 65001.

I got charged £4.50 four times for some prize quiz thing I never signed up for, honestly no idea how they manage to do this scam. Luckily, my mobile provider was able to block those kinds of numbers for me.

I honestly thought I was just entering a draw to get free Netflix for a year. Next thing I know, £4.50 shows up on my Vodafone bill right away, even though I cancelled straight away. I looked up mobsfun and, reading the fine print, it says I gave up my 14-day cancellation period. Proper dodgy trick if you ask me!

I didn’t agree to any of this and suddenly got charged £4.50! Does anyone know how I can make it stop?

For the past four months, I've been getting texts from this number (mobsfun) and just ignored them, not realising they charge £4.50 every week - that's in the tiny writing somewhere. When I saw my phone bills shot up a lot and I barely use my phone, I got in touch with O2, but they just told me it’s not their problem. I never signed up for anything and eventually replied with STOP to try and stop it. It's so annoying that these companies can sneak charges like this, especially when you're busy and don’t check the details properly. O2 promised to send a form and get back to me within five days, but I still haven’t heard a thing. No help at all. - Susan

I had the same problem as a few others here, turns out they were taking money from me every week. I got in touch with O2 and they told me to text STOP to 65001. I did that and got a message back saying it was done. O2 also gave me a number to call for a refund but it’s all just an automated phone line, no actual person to talk to. Bit frustrating!

Honestly, if it were me, I’d probably hide my number when calling. Leaving it showing like that just means you’ll keep getting the same sort of calls you’ve been dealing with.

These crooks are the worst! They’re draining nearly a fiver from you each week for absolutely zilch! Take heed - steer clear of any calls from this number. You won’t be able to get through to them either; it’s all automated responses with no chance for a real conversation. Seriously, keep your wits about you and look after your hard-earned cash!

Just checked my O2 statement and noticed I’ve been billed three times £3.75 from this number. I did an online chat with O2 and the advisor told me to text “cancel” which should stop the charges, but warned it might still come through. Apparently, the charges come from Interactzmedia 02036300340, and they suggested ringing them to try and get a refund. Judging by the other comments, I’m not very hopeful!

Not sure how i ended up in this, but every week they take £4.50 from my phone. Tried sending STOP but it doesn't seem to do anything. Can someone please explain how to cancel this?

I’ve been getting messages from 65001 and when I replied with "STOP," it just didn't do anything. It won’t sort itself out and I’m not about to hand over money to some dodgy scam. Need this to end right now!

I've never signed up for anything on this number, yet I'm being charged £4.50 every month. They told me to text a specific number with the word 'stop', but the message wouldn't go through properly because the letters and numbers got all jumbled. I don't want this service at all and would really appreciate it if you could help stop any more calls or messages. My name's Janette Fiendley, I'm with O2 and my number is 07565240403. I'm a pensioner and can't afford these charges. This phone is only for my husband and my three sons, so I don't need any random or useless contacts. Hoping to hear from you soon. Thanks in advance, best wishes.

My latest bill suddenly had an extra £18.75 tacked on. I didn’t agree to anything, never signed up, or gave permission for these fees. O2, my mobile operator, gave me that number. I texted STOP to it but didn’t get any response back.

Every Saturday, they keep taking £3.75 from my account and I have no clue why. Tried calling them, left a voicemail but no one answered because they were shut. I’m just gonna send an email to the address EE provided and see what’s going on.

My wife has been getting loads of texts from the number 65001, and it's costing us £4.50 each time they send one. Such a pain!

I received a text from 65001 saying I’m still in the running for a prize card and to tap a link to join: http://play.mobsfun.com/lpx/trivia?o=GB-en&m=my mobile no. It claimed winners get a personal call. The number was 02036300340. This ended up charging me £4.50 and over a month I got hit with £25 in fees. Does anyone know how I can block these kinds of messages? It’s really annoying.

I keep getting charged £4.50 every week for a quiz or game that I never even signed up for. Virgin told me to call the number on my bill to sort it out, but when I try, the phone just goes dead - it’s disconnected or something. Completely frustrating.
