Got a call from a woman with an accent, loads of background noise like she was in some call centre. Some woman called saying she was from an insurance claims team about an incident I supposedly had. I missed the call as I was out at the time. My ten-year-old was home and picked up. Some woman called pretending to be from an insurance claims team looking into some “incident” I was involved in. I told her I’ve never had any accident, and she snapped back saying it wasn’t an accident, it was an incident. I told her I had neither, and she insisted there was a claim against me. I asked her when and where it supposedly happened and who made the claim, but she refused to give me any details. I asked why on earth she was bothering me then, and she just hung up. Honestly, so relieved my phone has that block number function! Caller? Just a rude, cheeky little nightmare.

This number keeps calling me nonstop. When I answer, there’s a long silence before a woman from some "Incident team" starts talking. Right away, I told her to remove me from their calls, but she wouldn't agree unless I heard her out. She then warned me that they'd keep calling if I didn’t comply. I asked her to sum up why she was ringing in just one sentence, and she mentioned something about an incident related to my car insurance. I told her I don’t even have car insurance and again asked to be taken off their list. No idea if she actually did, but she was pretty rude and pushy about it.

Since the 16th of Dec 2015, these idiots have rang me 27 times and I've never picked up till yesterday when I finally had a moment. Surprise, surprise, it's some accident claims lot on the line. I thought I'd mess about a bit - told them I’d been in a crash, there was a full load of people in the car, like 15 of ’em, and I was driving a Mini Cooper with a reg plate reading "SCREW YOU". They just cut me off straight away! Proper rude lot. If I were you, just block these numbers or kill some time pranking them if you’re bored enough. - caller: sounded like some annoying tosser

They've been calling me every day for like the last 10 days about some 'incident' from a couple years ago. I blocked the number but still kept getting voicemails, which got really annoying. Got a call on my mobile, they asked for me by name, and when I replied, they said it was about a car crash I supposedly had last year (I don’t even drive!). I said that, and they went, “Well, we can pretend you do drive and help you claim some cash.” I told them I work at the DVLA, and they just hung up. Moments later, they phoned my landline (same daft caller). Honestly, these lot will try anything to make a quick quid.

They say they’re looking into a car crash but don’t give any specifics. I reckon they’re after info for claims from unhurt passengers who, thanks to EU rules, can claim anyway (causing our insurance to rise). Really though, if a passenger was actually injured, it’s dead simple for them to make a claim on their own!

It's funny how these people always ring my mobile instead of my home phone. You'd think real businesses would give the landline a go first. Anyway, I had my laptop open when the phone buzzed, so I quickly looked up the number while it was still ringing. Once I realised what it was, I just ignored the call. Got a call from someone named "Kegan" claiming to be from some "accident claims agency" or whatever - it was about my recent car crash and something to do with insurance for drivers without cover. I asked if they were linked to any government body, then if they were properly regulated. They said, “We’re a private company,” so I just said no thanks and ended the call. Don’t fall for these dodgy calls! Blocked and added to my reject list.

They've rung me up a few times, and whenever I answer, some bloke with a thick Indian accent asks for "Miss Bruhkgmmdratrb" or something equally nonsense. I said, "Yeah, that’s me, how can I help?" (I'm a guy btw). He just goes "Ooooh... ohhh... really?" I repeated, "Yes, it’s me." Then he replies with more "ooooo... ooo" nonsense and just hangs up. Hahaha, proper muppets! :D
