Today I got a call from this number asking me to confirm the company name and directors so they could update a free listing. They then asked if we were with BT, which I said we were, and followed up by wanting to know how many handsets we’ve got. I found that bit a bit odd and asked why they needed that info. Right after I questioned her, she just hung up. I really hope this comment reaches someone who can get this line cut off or penalised for breaching GDPR rules. If not, what’s the point of GDPR or putting out warnings like this?
