He assured me he'd take me off their call list (or at least that's what I gathered). On the whole, it feels like I'm dodging about eight unsolicited calls a day, predominantly from Indian call centres, with the occasional Spanish telemarketer thrown into the mix. I often attempt to engage them just to prolong the conversation-I'll mention I'm in the middle of doing the dishes or something similar, all in an effort to tie them up on the line and squander their time! An Indian lady phoned our workplace and asked to speak to the lady of the house. She mentioned that she was calling from a company called Verso or possibly Versa, but then hung up before he could finish the conversation!
