Got a call from someone claiming to be from National Viewpoint, trying to get me to share personal details. When I asked what business they had asking that from me, they couldn’t really give a proper answer, just kept going on with the same rubbish. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number. I keep getting calls from these folks pretty much every day, usually around lunch or when we're having dinner. I don't usually pick up numbers I don't know, but once I did and the person on the other end had a really hard to understand Asian accent, saying they weren’t selling anything but doing some kind of survey - I just hung up pretty quick. On my phone, I figured out a way to handle this. I made a contact called BAN LIST and add any unwanted numbers there, then set my phone to automatically block calls from that contact. It’s made a huge difference and cut down the amount I get quite a lot.

On the evening of 18th March 2016 at around 7:30 PM, I received a call from the number mentioned. Upon answering, I was met with silence, save for a jumble of voices in what sounded like a bustling office environment. I could distinctly hear the clatter of chairs and snippets of telephone conversations in the background. It was quite baffling!

Got another call from those muppets today... Honestly, why don’t the phone companies do something about these idiots? The bloke on the line sounded like he had an accent from Pakistan or somewhere, and it’s maddening how these pricks keep pestering folks. They don’t care if you’ve just lost someone or got elderly family members relying on you. Honestly, these arseholes need to be stopped immediately.

I keep getting these phone calls where they insist on addressing me as Mrs Adams, even though I’m not an Adams at all! They even mentioned an address that has nothing to do with me. To top it all off, they kept insisting I was aged between 35 and 45 when I’m actually only 24! It was all rather silly and quite infuriating!

Received a call from 02034574181 earlier, the lady on the line wanted to talk to my son Gavin. I had to tell her he passed away back in October 2015. She then asked if there's anyone else in the same area she could speak to. Honestly, what kind of people do that? Losing Gavin at 37 was hard enough, didn't expect such insensitivity. Seems like she’s got no empathy at all. Whoever’s in charge should really reconsider having her on the team - it’s just cruel to bother grieving families like that. Properly upsetting.

Just got a ring from this number, they claimed to be from something like Virso or Verso? They already knew my full name and postcode which was a bit creepy, then started asking for personal details. The accent was really hard to follow, the English was proper dodgy and I didn’t catch half of it. Ended up blocking the number - caller was 020 3457 4181.

Got a ring from this number not long ago. Some guy with an Indian accent was sneezing out incoherent nonsense, then asked if I had a car or drove one. This number kept calling me nonstop for weeks, so I finally answered to find out who was behind it. The woman on the line spoke so fast and mumbling I couldn’t really catch what she was saying, but I think she mentioned something like ‘Verso’ or ‘Virso’. She somehow had my address and then asked me to verify my age group, saying she needed to make sure she wasn’t speaking to a minor. I wasn’t having any of that and flat out refused. Honestly, I had no clue what her endgame was - every time I tried to speak, she just raised her voice and sped up her talking till I couldn’t get a word in. My advice is to just block this number immediately, they called me probably 50 times over 3 weeks which got real annoying fast. - caller: 02034574181

This number kept ringing me like crazy, got about 10 calls in just seven days! Thankfully my phone blocks them now so I’m not bothered anymore. Since I got a new BT phone set with that call guardian thing for around £60, my landline's been quiet as a mouse. Honestly, best money spent - finally some peace!

Whats the point of the Telephone Preference Service when it clearly does nothing to stop all these annoying calls? It was supposed to get rid of nuisance callers but here we are, still getting bombarded. Feels like just another way the government wastes our cash! Surely it’s not too hard for the phone networks to block a number if it’s reported a hundred times or so? Seems like common sense to me.

Got a call recently from someone who said something like 'Virso' but it wasn't very clear. He seemed to be asking about the most popular product around my neighbourhood. Oddly, he knew my street and postcode but no clue about my age. Kept guessing age ranges and asking if I fit into them. I didn’t share anything and after a minute or so I just ended the call with a quick goodbye.

People from Verso, I usually mess with them by saying I’m keen and then asking them to wait while I “let the dog out.” Then I keep them on hold in my cupboard, stringing it out with a quick “be right with you” every minute or so. I’ve got a weird sense of humour, I know! The longest I’ve kept one on the line is 16 minutes. Hopefully, if they spend enough time with me, someone else might get a breather.
