The caller said they were from O2, but I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I had placed an order with Currys and then got a call from this number. The person said he was calling on behalf of Currys to double-check my billing and delivery details. I was a bit doubtful about it. He even said, "We get this a lot," and offered to hang up the call. But he never came out and said he wasn’t actually from Currys, which some others seem to suggest in their comments here.

So, I got a call from a bloke claiming to have deals for EE, O2 and Three. He asked which provider my contract was with, and then passed me on to another guy who said he was from EE - bit weird, like they have a different person for each network or something. I ended up giving them quite a bit of info, but when they asked me to "confirm" my full 16-digit card number, I refused. The guy sounded seriously annoyed and asked why I didn’t want to “confirm” it, making it seem like a huge problem. I just told him I didn’t want to share it, and then the call dropped. They tried ringing me back a few times on different numbers: 0161 5202105 and 020 3455 4046, but I ignored and declined them. Now I’m worried and feel like I need to switch bank accounts and everything. Does anyone know where to request removal of your personal info? The creepy part is, they seemed to know my old address without me even mentioning it. Cheers!

someone rang claiming to be from the nhs, wanted to know if i'd had the vaccine. i told him if he really was from nhs he’d already have that info. he kept pushing but i just said no way i’m answering without knowing who he is.

Got three calls all from numbers that looked the same within the last hour, total spam.

Lately I’ve been getting loads of random calls, but this one was the weirdest by far. I picked up but honestly I kinda wish I hadn't because these calls are really getting on my nerves! There was a bunch of chatter in the background, but it wasn’t English at all, just a bunch of noise I couldn’t make out.
I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now. If it’s really something important, they’ll ring back, but I’m not gonna bother answering again unless they leave some kind of voicemail or message.
