I received a call from this number, purporting to discuss our account with Domestic and General, which we don’t even possess anymore. The caller had a strong Indian accent, and when I informed him that we were no longer clients of theirs, he abruptly cut the line. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

Lately, loads of calls coming through from numbers pretending to be from Currys (which I’m not interested in at all), plus others claiming to be from O2, Three, PC World, Just Eat, insurance companies, and airlines. All of them just trying their luck. I usually mess with them by keeping the convo going to waste their time. I feed them fake bank info and watch them freak out, yelling to fix the “mistakes”.

A chap rang up, masquerading as a representative from the Three network, claiming he could offer me a 30% discount along with a complimentary iPad Pro 128GB as a token of appreciation for my loyalty. However, his true intention was to fish for my debit card information to upgrade this so-called offer. He was quite smooth in his conversation until I remarked that I was onto his little scam.
