She started going on about insulation, so I stayed quiet and asked her to clarify where exactly she was based, since she said she was local. She said their offices are everywhere in the country, but when I pressed her again about my specific area, no answer. Then she got a bit snappy and asked if I was the homeowner. I dodged that and repeated my question about my location, then she just hung up. Feels good to mess with these types sometimes. Hopefully that’s the last I’ll hear from her!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with my 3 network, saying they could cut my bill by £8 each month with unlimited calls and internet. This morning, someone from 02034049185 rang my landline saying they were from Microsoft. I could hear a busy call centre noise in the background. I also had a similar call yesterday claiming to be from Microsoft. This is the first time these calls have come through to me, but I know they’re common once your number gets out there. I've received three calls from this number on my mobile today, the 2nd of January. Since it's not one I recognise, I opted to decline each time rather than answer. Thank goodness, too! After seeing what others have said about this number, I’m relieved I didn’t pick up.

02034517716 rang me at 10:49 in the morning. I didn’t pick up this time, letting it go straight to voicemail, but they didn’t leave any message or hang up for a bit. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of calls from "020" numbers, mostly around 8am. I’ve decided to stop answering altogether because it’s getting on my nerves, makes me feel like someone’s trying to see if I’m home or something.

Received a call from the 02034 number earlier. I never disclose my number when I pick up calls. When I answered with a "hello, who’s there?", there was only silence, but I could just about catch what seemed like a woman’s voice in the background. I really hope that anyone else who gets a call from this number keeps their number to themselves.

Got a call from 02034328172, no idea who it was. Didn’t pick up. This was on 25/5/22 at about 12:24.

Got a recorded voice saying I owe Tax and NI money and might get in trouble. Said to hit 1 to speak with someone. Got called by a supposed HMCR scammer at about 4pm and then again around 7pm, but from an 0203 number.

Got calls from a withheld number, some American woman claiming I was charged £85 by Amazon. Told me to press 1 to speak to an agent for a refund. Loads of calls like this, definitely scammers trying it on.

02034176574 has been ringing me like 7 times in just 2 days. The calls barely ring before stopping. I dont recognise the number so I just dont pick up. They never bother leaving a voicemail either.

I received a call from a chap who said he was part of a tech support team. However, when I inquired about the company he represented, he abruptly disconnected the line. His accent was distinctly Indian. I'd definitely classify this as a dodgy call. Cheers, J. Murray

I've received calls from someone who claims to be named James one day and then Lisa the next, all supposedly regarding my Microsoft computer. The thing is, I don’t possess a Microsoft device at all! It's rather intrusive, to say the least!
