Got a call from 02033428971 - a woman named Jane claiming to be my local energy advisor. She just hung up on me instantly. This was the second dodgy call I've had in as many days, but they came from different numbers. I’ve blocked them through BT 1572 now. Looking it up online, it seems like anyone can get an 02033 prefix number - apparently you can check it out at 'switchboardfree.co.uk'. So, these calls could be originating from absolutely anywhere. 02033 425825 called me and it was a woman speaking with a thick accent, maybe Indian or Pakistani. She was quite pushy about something to do with the internet. Every time I tried to ask her something, she seemed really unwilling to respond and then just cut the call abruptly.

0203 3156463 called me saying they were from Sky and that my TV maintenance cover was up for renewal. They claimed I paid £144 last year (which I definitely didn’t), but because I’m a loyal customer, they could offer me a deal for £99 this year or £160 for two years. I said I wasn’t interested in either. When I asked why, I told them I thought it was a scam, and then they just hung up. I never signed up for any TV maintenance cover, so this was obviously a dodgy call.

This number, 02033438042, keeps ringing me non-stop. My phone’s blocked it now, cos I never pick up. I've noticed it’s tried calling me about 8 times over the past six days! Proper annoying.

A bloke with a foreign accent called from 02033 363647 about some free heat check for my place. When I wouldn't give my address, he just said "bye ####, I've got it already" and then ended the call. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

This person claimed to assist pensioners and eventually mentioned affordable medication. When they began requesting my address, I asked if they needed my credit card details, and then they just hung up. I've now blocked their number.

I've been getting nonstop calls from 02033###---, with different endings each time. When I told one caller off, they swore at me! They claimed to be from Microsoft, but it’s clearly fake. Today alone, they rang me about 7 times within minutes just 'cause I wasn’t picking up. Proper annoying.

We've been getting loads of calls from 02033187 and a few other similar numbers, all claiming to be from Microsoft. Last night, there were three calls in a row. After my husband told the second caller straight up that he was a scammer, the person got really rude and swore at him. Then, this morning, someone else rang me, again saying there was something wrong with my computer. I told them nicely to stop calling and hung up. But then, the phone kept ringing - six more times, all going straight to my answering machine with no messages.

Got a ring from 02033### saying they were from National Grid. The woman on the line had an Indian accent and claimed our meter was faulty and needed swapping out on the ### of April. She asked if that date was alright. I tried to find out if this was a widespread issue or just for my place, but she seemed confused by the question. I told her to send some kind of written confirmation if it was legit, then I ended the call.

I got a call from a man with a really strong Indian accent on this number. He kept asking for my name, but I wouldn’t give it until he told me who he was and what he wanted. It was nearly 7pm, and honestly, I couldn’t make out what he was saying properly. He mentioned something about my passport, and then the phone showed “Ministry of Justice” with an address of ### Petty France, London SW1H 9AJ. There was also a weird symbol, something like a share icon, I think. The guy got all muddled up and started twisting my words, then just cut off. Hope this info is useful and that they manage to track this caller down.

Got a call from an Asian bloke saying my internet’s got issues, but honestly it’s just so frustrating. I thought being on the Preference Service would stop these calls, but here we are. There has to be a better way to block these annoying pests.
