Got a call from some bloke about a domestic appliance, but he had my old address and claimed to be ringing from Brighton - obviously a scam. I told him off pretty sharply and ended the call. Then he rang back, so I just hung up. When he called a third time, my son picked up, and the caller whinged that someone was rude to him. So, my son gave him stick too and cut him off. Total waste of time.

Funny enough, this was the third time from similar companies - first it was plumbing, then window coverage - clearly some new scam doing the rounds!

He was very courteous but kept pushing.
