Got an email about a TV purchase but I’ve never bought one, not sure what’s going on. The weird thing is it came through to my work email, which isn’t linked to any payment sites at all. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Got a text saying there was some dodgy stuff on my card, so I rang the number. Some bloke answered, saying he was from my bank’s fraud team. I told him I wasn't convinced, and he replied, alright, I’ll reach out to you through the app then.

I got a call from someone saying they were a copper at Charing Cross Police. They said they were looking into an identity theft matter. They rattled off a bunch of random names and places that meant nothing to me. When I told him I had no clue what he was on about, he just ended the call. Definitely a scam, watch out!
