A chap called me saying he worked for fonehouse.co.uk and was offering discounted phone deals. He claimed to be subcontracted by a mobile network and ended up sending me three brand new phones. After a while, he rang back saying there’d been an error and asked me to send the phones back to an address that’s not a proper returns centre but just an empty house. I checked with the network provider, and they said the address isn’t linked to them at all. They even sent me official return bags and advised me to get in touch with the police.

Someone rang me claiming they were from the Carphone Warehouse head office offering some exclusive deals. Not sure if I believe them at all.
