Got this dodgy email that said I’d bought a pricey telly on Ebay, and it was supposedly being sent to some London place. They wanted me to ring a number if there was any problem. Took a closer look and realised it didn’t come from Ebay but some random person. Thankfully, none of my bank or Ebay stuff got hacked. At first, the email looked pretty legit though.

Got a voicemail on my mobile from someone named Officer Sarah Wilson claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs. She said the number for her department was 02032908158 and that either me or my solicitor had to ring back. Warned me not to ignore it or I'd face legal trouble.
