Called back the number 02032891245 from Greater Manchester but it just went to voicemail. Didn’t leave a message luckily, so wasn’t caught off guard or anything.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent, she said she was ringing on behalf of GB Investments. I told her I wasn’t interested and hung up straight away. Pretty clear this was some kind of scam.

I got a call from an Asian lady claiming she was with GB Capital Investments. When I answered, she started shouting all sorts of horrible words like ‘f*** off you m***er f***er’. Such dreadful language for just picking up an unexpected phone call. If GB Capital Investments are legit, they really should hear this and do something about it.

I've been receiving calls from this number for the past couple of days, specifically the 20th and 21st of May 2024. They are purporting to be from Windows support. My wife picked up the phone, and after informing them that they were clearly not who they claimed to be, she hung up within seconds. Shockingly, they rang again almost straight away! I've attempted to block them before, but it appears they keep switching to different numbers. This situation really needs the attention of Ofcom.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a company and that my computer was hacked. What’s funny is, my laptop is currently at the shop getting fixed, so there’s no way it could be hacked right now. They called me a second time but I just ignored it.

This morning this number rang me up, and it was a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from the Windows Service Centre. Once I asked if it was a scam, she got a lot pushier and her voice changed to be quite forceful. In the end, I just hung up.

In just five minutes, I got three calls from this bloke who was really rude and trying to scare me. He claimed he was from Microsoft and said scammers had hacked my computer. He told me to listen to him or else my computer would get blocked. I’ve gone ahead and blocked his number now.

Got a call from a woman with a posh accent saying she was from Microsoft. She said she was stopping hackers from messing with my PC. She kept rambling on, but if you know a little about computers, it was clear she was trying to get remote access. Just a really pushy and irritating scam call.

This number kept ringing me back twice more after I told them I wasn’t interested in chatting. I’ve since blocked it. They tried saying there was some issue with my Microsoft account that they’d fix for free. When I mentioned I was going to hang up because I hadn’t asked for the call, they started acting all pushy. Luckily, being a 78-year-old who’s pretty streetwise, I didn’t get caught up in their nonsense. Still, I worry about others, especially people around my age or even younger, who might end up falling for their scheme and giving away personal info.

These lot have rung me like five times within two days - proper annoying and quite cheeky! When I told them I wasn’t the person they wanted, they admitted they gave me the wrong name on purpose just to check if it was me!! Total scammers, no doubt about it 😡😡😡

Absolutely a scam, no doubt about it. Got a couple of calls from the same number claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting my computer had been hacked and that they needed to connect to sort it out. When I pressed for their name and rank, they clammed up completely, so I ended the call right then and there.

Our home phone in the south-west kept getting calls from some 'computer-something' annoyance. What really bugged me was they rang us FOUR times back to back without stopping.

Totally a scam! This woman with an Asian accent was proper rude, nearly yelling when I told her my laptop was dead and I couldn't do what she wanted. Then she started acting all childish, saying she ‘just tried to help’. She called again today, so I ignored it and went to make my brekkie. Then she rang back right away, claiming to be from Windows, warning about scammers targeting my account and asking if anyone else uses my computer or is at home. When I told her I was off to the loo, she just hung up on me!

As soon as I caught the accent of the caller, I was pretty sure it was some sort of scam, like 99% sure. I always make it a point to only chat with people who say who they are before asking for my details... If they don’t do that, it’s usually a sign they’re trying to rip me off or push some unwanted sales on me. Shame, really.

This was a complete scam. They kept telling me my computer was hacked, which is ridiculous since I haven’t even used it in nearly three years. I asked how it could be hacked if it’s been off for so long! They kept pushing me to turn it on, which made no sense at all. The caller had terrible English and the whole thing felt like nonsense. Eventually, she just ended the call. Total rubbish, don’t trust these people.
