I have been receiving multiple voicemail messages from this particular phone number lately. The messages are pre-recorded with a computerized voice stating the same information mentioned above. Allegedly, there is a legal matter involved which has resulted in a warrant being issued for my arrest. Naturally, I have chosen not to return the call. However, I seek confirmation from all of you as to whether this is indeed a scam. I don't want to dismiss something that might actually be real, and end up facing an arrest!

On the afternoon of Tuesday, July 16th at 1:09 pm, I received a message. Additionally, on Wednesday, July 17th at 09:40 am, I received another message stating that a legal case has been filed in my name and an arrest warrant has been issued. The message advised me to contact my case worker using the provided helpline phone number. As someone who is disabled, this news caused significant stress. However, my ex-wife, who acts as my carer, advised me to ignore the message and not respond. She assured me that she would research the phone number. It is crucial to put an end to these scams because they target older and vulnerable individuals, leaving them without support and negatively impacting their well-being.

I have received a warrant for my arrest, just like others have. It seems that someone in the UK has been helping the scammers with this phone number. It is frustrating that this service hasn't been shut down right away. I have already reported this to OFCOM in the past, but no action has been taken. OFCOM is utterly useless in terms of protecting the public. They should be closed down and replaced with an organization that actually takes action.

Seems like this number is faked using some laptop out there, pretending to be from the UK. It’s just the usual trick. They use some clever software that tricks the UK phone system into showing their number as local. Complete scammers trying to scare you into handing over your bank info. Best thing is to block it and don’t answer or reply to them at all.
