Received a call from this number earlier. The line was poor, but the caller claimed to be from HMRC, mentioning that I should have received an email regarding the call. However, they definitely don't have my email address. They were going on about my business accounts, but I suspected it was a scam. I voiced my suspicions to the caller and promptly hung up.

Someone rang me about Child Benefit and went through the typical questions you’d expect. They had me rate the service from 1 to 5 and asked if I’d be happy to use the online system for child benefits. The questionnaire was a bit lengthy but pretty standard stuff. Nothing seemed fishy at all. The only odd thing was I never got a letter afterwards to review how the person did. Also, they were keen to know if I found the online service straightforward and easy to navigate. Number was 02031487633.

I got a couple of calls from this number purporting to be IFF Research conducting a survey linked with Ofgem. I reached out to IFF Research to confirm, and naturally, they informed me it isn’t one of their legitimate numbers at all. Best to just block the number and move on, in my opinion!

I recently encountered a con artist who was all too eager to assist me in reclaiming what I supposedly paid in tax on my PPI. However, as it unfolded, his true intent was to swindle me out of money by pushing for income tax refunds. It’s utterly shocking how close I came to falling into his trap! I urge everyone to stay vigilant and protect yourselves. Watch your backs, folks!

Got a cheeky sales call about employer auto-enrolment today. They used really dodgy language that seemed quite direct, like saying "We're following up on the letter sent out by the pensions regulator." Thing is, that letter’s been sent to pretty much every company in England now! They try to make it feel like you have to use their service and dig for info about your pension provider and staging dates. Classic cold call stuff - best to just hang up fast!
