Got a call from this number today, some bloke pretending to be from the Department For Education - total nonsense! Just another scammer wasting time. Blocked it straight away.

Got a call from a London number claiming to be from the Scottish Government. They wanted to speak to my "manager." When I asked for more details so I could pass it on properly, they said it was about a survey and needed to speak to whoever handles recruitment. That seemed off to me since my manager isn't involved with recruitment at all. If they were legit, wouldn’t they just ask for the right person straight away? Then, when I offered to have someone return the call or asked for an email address, they said they had none. It didn’t feel genuine one bit.

Not the first time this month I've had a call from a scammer pretending to be someone legit. This one said they were from insurance, telling me I had a car crash a couple of years back, which is rubbish.
