I received a rather strange call inquiring about my small enterprise.

I had a similar experience as well. This number rang me up, and a chap on the other end insisted he was somehow affiliated with the "UK Government," asking about a survey and wanting to have a word with the managing director. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

Had a call from this number where the bloke pretended to be from the Department For Education. What a load of nonsense! Just another scammer trying their luck. I've blocked the number without a second thought.

Received a call that purported to be from the Scottish Government, yet the number is based in London? Oddly enough, they were after my "manager." When I probed for details to funnel her call appropriately, she stated that she required a chat with the person responsible for recruitment regarding a survey. Quite frankly, my manager doesn't oversee recruitment. You'd think someone with a semblance of professionalism would know to ask for the right person, wouldn’t you? When I suggested that she could either have someone ring her back or send over an email for follow-up, she suddenly couldn’t provide a contact number or an email address. The whole thing felt rather dodgy, to be honest.
