On July 8th, 2017, I received a distressing phone call from this number. It was clear to me that it was a scam. However, as some other comments mentioned, if the scam had targeted an elderly person, it could have led to severe consequences. It is crucial to apprehend these individuals, and one would hope that technology could somehow track them down.

Two weeks ago, I was inundated with six voicemail calls from this particular number. Unfortunately, since I was away on holiday, I only had the chance to listen to the messages upon returning. The voicemails varied in terms of quality; some were clear like what others had experienced, while others were distorted and sounded as though they were being played at different speeds. They all featured a woman's voice. In an attempt to call back, I encountered a constant dead tone.

Received a similar sorta intimidating message on our answerphone from this very same number last Friday morning, 7th July. Honestly, where are the cops, Action Fraud, or Trading Standards when you need them? I’ve tried reporting this loads of times before and it’s always the same - no response whatsoever. However, the caller left a message indicating that failure to return the call could result in legal repercussions. It is worth mentioning that the message was conveyed by a female voice. Today, I received three calls urging me to pay attention as it was supposedly from HMRC. The line was incredibly crackly. I decided to googled the number and discovered that it is indeed a scam. It's truly disgraceful that there are individuals out there who exploit the elderly and vulnerable. They should find proper employment instead of resorting to such sickening tactics. Thankfully, I have now added them to my blocked caller list on my £30 Argos phone, which has proven to be a great purchase.

Got a call from a man with a foreign accent trying to sell me all sorts of dodgy drugs and some really weird sexual stuff, even involving animals.
