02031295532 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02031295532 👆 is reported as a recurring scam where callers impersonate major UK telecom providers like Virgin Media, BT, Sky, and TalkTalk. They falsely claim the victim’s router or account is hacked and urge downloading remote access software, such as TeamViewer, to "fix" the issue. These calls often feature individuals with foreign accents and use aggressive or persistent tactics. Genuine companies do not operate this way, and victims are advised never to grant remote access or share personal information. If uncertain, always independently verify by contacting the official provider using known contact details. This scam is well-documented and widely recognised; vigilance and refusal to engage with unsolicited technical support calls are essential to avoid falling victim.

Today, on the 16th of August 2016, I received a call from the very same woman claiming to be representing Virgin. She attempted to persuade me to partake in some nonsense, but I promptly declined and ended the call. Not long after, that number, 02085925878, rang me again, but I just ignored it. I'm really starting to get quite fed up with these scammers!

Got a phone call from some bloke claiming to be from Sky saying my router had been compromised. I told him I wasn’t a Sky customer, then he switched it up, saying he meant my BT service. I told him again I don’t use BT and asked for his number to ring him back for confirmation. Later I stumbled across this chat - cheers, I won’t be phoning that guy back. The number he gave me was 02031 295532.

This number rang me up saying my Virgin Media router was being hacked. I asked them how many hackers they reckon were inside, then they just cut me off. Total scam!

You won't believe what just happened! I had a chap named Nick Shaw - sporting a rather pronounced Indian accent, interestingly enough - ring me up claiming to be from BT. The same old story, really, trying to pull a fast one. He insisted I download this software called TeamViewer, which, while legitimate and often used by tech experts for remote support, could easily be weaponised by the wrong sort. If you’re not careful, it could end up wreaking havoc on your finances. Fortunately, my wife has a much sharper wit than I do and intervened just in the nick of time, stopping him from emptying my bank account. So, do take heed, folks. There are some remarkably believable yet utterly deceitful fraudsters out there, and it pays to be vigilant!

A chap named Nick rang me claiming to be from TalkTalk, insisting that my computer had been compromised. He wanted me to log on and simultaneously hit ctrl and r. When he quizzed me about a pop-up message, I cheekily told him, ‘the bloke on the phone is a scammer’. He didn’t take it too well, asserting he was indeed from TalkTalk. He even provided me with a phone number and an address in London before abruptly disconnecting. Quite the experience, I must say!

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a woman named Ellie Smith, who claimed to represent BT. She insisted that my email account was being compromised by someone overseas. I must admit, I was rather sceptical of her assertions, especially when she urged me to power on my desktop computer, which I politely declined to do. Later on, when I dialled 1471 to trace the call, I found that a completely different number was recorded for that time. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from this same number, they claimed my router was hacked. I'm living down in South Wales, by the way.

Today I had a similar issue and called BT, but they told me everything was fine with my connection.

Got a call from that number too, 0203 129 5532. I rang up BT and gave them the info to try and put a stop to it. If you want to throw them off, try answering in a different language - I found speaking Irish really confuses them!
