Digital Mail Ltd, or dmClub as they call themselves, are making a killing from these scam calls run by con artists. It's gross and greedy - maybe they should just stop handing out these numbers since they’re basically helping the scammers run their tricks. Also, there’s Virtel/Crimzon Telecoms, now operating under Tangerine Telecoms Limited, involved in this mess too.

Got a call threatening me with arrest over supposed unpaid taxes. I just cut the call and blocked the number straight away. Out of curiosity, I rang them back and some voice said “HM revenue and customs” but their accent was very odd, didn’t sound British at all. I ended up reporting the whole thing to the genuine HMRC.

This number, 020 3936 9631, won’t stop calling me all the time, it’s so annoying. Can someone please do something about it? It’s been non stop all day and night!

Avoid calling 020 3000 7672 as it's linked to scams. Digital Mail keeps getting involved in dodgy stuff, letting their numbers be used for shady actions yet again. If you want to do something, give 020 7060 2000 a ring and calmly tell them off about the rubbish their clients are pulling! Honestly, Digital Mail’s just cashing in by handing over services to some foreigners, all for greed - total muppets!

This kind of scam targets folks who might trust what’s being said without much suspicion. They’re basically thieves who, once they snag someone, try to get personal info or bank details by telling them they’ve won a fake lottery prize - prizes that don’t even exist because there wasn’t any real contest to enter in the first place. After they get the info, they can end up stealing your identity or cleaning out your bank account. Basically, you’re exactly the kind of person they want to cheat out of your hard earned cash.

It's really hurting my business, and these scammers just carry on ringing me with no consequences at all! I can't get my head around why there isn't a law that stops firms like Digital Mail from faking UK landline numbers. They trick you into believing the call is local, which is noted somehow on notes.dmelub{+###]/1094 about how to spoof dmclub numbers (which is what Digital Mail Ltd uses) from anywhere worldwide to any phone number. It's frustrating that nothing's being done to prevent this nonsense.

There’s this firm named Digital Mail Ltd that really needs to be put to an end. Why is nobody stepping in to sort these calls out? They just deny making the calls, but seriously, what law is there to shield us from this nonsense? I get loads of scam calls like this daily, and sometimes they keep ringing even after I’ve hung up. When this happens, I can’t make any calls and no one’s able to get through to me until it finally stops. It’s so frustrating!

Definitely a con artist, called me up saying my loan was approved and wanted me to send £600 straight to his account, which I refused. Then he claimed his website was [#/monevo[###] or something like that. Sounds like when you apply for a loan online, these lot get hold of your info and try to trick you. Be careful with these people. I told them off good, but I reckon others might fall for their nonsense.

this morning i got a phone call from a man named kyle watson telling me i’d won 3 free tickets for friday’s euro lottery. he went on to say i could join a syndicate with around 100 players and 80 lines for £19.50 a month. he didn’t ask for my bank details right away, but then he asked which bank i used and wanted my sort code. i’d already made it clear i wasn’t giving out any bank info. he then said he’d bring his manager on the line to explain everything, and that’s when i just ended the call. watch out for this number and just ignore or hang up if they ring you.

Absolute con artist alert! I received a call from someone claiming to be "Kim Smith," saying she was with the Euromillions lottery syndicate. Immediately, I realised something was off. She had a concerning amount of my personal details, such as my date of birth, email, and home address. Then she started prying for my bank details. Having lived in Africa for a decade, I recognised the signs of this Durban call centre scam straight away. I decided to humour her for a bit and then addressed her in her native language. Safe to say, she was not happy when her little scheme fell flat!

Today I got a proper pushy call from 01617130212. The bloke said his name was Shad Williams, which sounded a bit fishy to me. Honestly, I reckon he just made up the name, though if I was working for Lottodirect, I might fake an identity as well. The chat quickly turned dodgy and kinda annoying, with them avoiding questions and getting a bit too much. I eventually lost patience and asked Shad to get a manager so I could register a complaint.

Got a call from Kevin William today, asking for my bank info. No chance I gave it to him. Said I’d won some prize or something.

Utterly dodgy! I caught the bloke in a web of deceit when I confronted him about his tall tales, and his cheek was off the scale! He actually had the nerve to claim that sharing my sort code and account number was perfectly safe, dismissing any risk just because it wasn't my long card number. His accent was quite thick, with a strong African twang, and there was a constant racket in the background-sounded like hissing! It really sent shivers down my spine, especially since he seemed to know an alarming amount of personal details about me, including my date of birth and address. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

Got some calls from South African ladies saying I'd bagged ten free shots at their lottery. Then they started asking for my bank stuff, just in case I actually won some cash. Honestly, steer clear of this one!

I got a call from someone claiming I’d won 10 free entries to the Euro Millions lottery, which felt really dodgy. They started by confirming my name, address and email, then moved on to asking for my DOB. After that, they wanted my bank info to send the winnings. I wasn’t having any of it and told them no. The person on the other end got quite rude after that. Since I had earlier registered for a free postal lottery, they already had my contact details, which made it seem genuine at first, but it’s definitely a scam.

It appears that Unity Lotto has been using this number to make unsolicited calls, attempting to entice individuals into joining a lottery syndicate. Others have highlighted similar concerns. While the syndicate itself might be genuine, there's an unsettling aspect to their approach, as they seem to demand extensive personal and banking details during these colder conversations, which raises red flags. Moreover, the fact that one cannot set up an account online and must rely solely on these phone conversations feels rather suspicious. Best to avoid picking up their calls altogether!

I've received a rather dubious call claiming I've won a prize, but they want our banking information and an upfront payment first. Quite clearly a scam!

What a sham! They were attempting to fish for my home address, email, bank information, and my date of birth. Watch out for these dodgy tactics!

Greetings Unity Lotto Members,

HOW ARE PAYOUTS HANDLED?
All winnings from our syndicate are shared equally among the 150 members. If your share comes to £20.00 or more, it will be transferred directly into your account following the conclusion of that month’s games. In the event that your winnings are below £20.00, the amount will be retained in the syndicate account and rolled over to the following month. After you've participated for three months, all accumulated winnings will be credited to your account, no matter the amount. We offer a complete winners assurance; if you happen to not win anything within any calendar month, rest assured that your funds will be returned to you. You can also log in to your syndicate account at any time to check on your winnings status.

What an utter farce!!! Seriously, who in their right mind would just hand over cash or snatch up your information from something you’ve never even engaged with? It’s absolutely ridiculous!

I've been getting calls from someone persistently asking for information regarding my wife's account. She's made it clear to them that she's not interested. Is it possible that this is actually linked to the lottery in some way? The caller identified themselves as Unity Lotto.
