I just got a call saying I've won £825,000 from some World Cup lottery online. Problem is, I never even entered any lottery... so definitely a scam. The caller said his name was Michael Bell from Marylebone House, Manchester Square, London. The only thing true is that Manchester Square really does exist in London. The number they used was 020 3000 2694.

Got a letter from some NICHOLAS MURRAY, saying he’s the VICE PRESIDENT and my wife won £825,000,00 or something. It told us to call Michael Bell on 020-3000-6972. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a letter saying I won £825,000 on some lottery ticket! It told me to call a number to sort out the payment and to wait for my cheque to arrive? But I've never bought a ticket for that lottery, so yeah, seems like a massive scam to me.

Got a letter from International FIFA online lottery telling me I’ve won £825,000. They want me to call 02030007916 to get the cheque sent. The letter is signed by Nicholas Murray, Vice President. Seems a bit dodgy if you ask me.

I got a letter saying I’d won £825,000,000 from some international FIFA World Cup online lottery. Problem is, I’ve never even entered that lottery, nor ever will. Didn’t bother calling the bloke named Michael Bell they mentioned. Total scam, pure rubbish. Just threw the letter straight in the bin. Nice try though, scammers, but I’m a 60-year-old woman and not falling for your nonsense!

I got a letter saying it was from the International FIFA World Cup Online Lottery, telling me I’d won £825,000 on a ticket I never even bought! They want me to get in touch with Michael Bell at 020-3000-7916 or 0776-898-0267, and gave an address: Marylebone House, Manchester Square, London W1U 3AB. After looking it up online, I found loads of reports saying this is a known SCAM. Don’t reply to it, it’s definitely fake.

Same here, I received a letter saying I’d won £825,000. Absolutely relieved to see everyone’s comments here telling me it’s a scam. The number they gave was 07768980267. What really bugs me is how they got hold of my name and address? I’ve got my number unlisted and I’m fed up of constantly blocking these idiots on both my landline and mobile. When will something actually be done to stop them? Lots of people report it but it feels like nothing changes.

Got this classic scam letter today saying I won the FIFA World Cup online raffle with these numbers 0776-898-0267 and a mobile one too. They claim I’m due £825,000. Would be lovely but I’m never that fortunate, so no way I called either number - bet they’d want all my info! Looked the number up here and yep, it’s a total con. If a real cheque turns up, I’ll happily say sorry to everyone. These scammers are just dull but please spread the word so folks don’t fall for it.

Got a letter saying I’d won £825,000 from some FIFA World Cup lottery. Said all I had to do was get in touch. So I called. Ended up speaking with a guy called Michael Bell, sounded like he was from Nigeria and didn’t seem very happy. He told me he’d send the cheque but told me to call back once it arrives. I’ll let you know if anything turns up!

This is one of those fake World Cup online lotteries from Fife. Be careful, nothing is free, no one just hands out £825,000 without a catch.

This number is linked to Digital Mail Ltd at Tabernacle Court, 16-28 Tabernacle Street, London EC2A 4D. They might not be the ones calling us directly, but they do benefit from their clients harassing us. Maybe think about giving them a bit of the hassle too, politely of course: t: 020 7060 2000

Got a call from a woman named Diane Wilson claiming to be from Sky Broadband. She said she was calling from South Africa and tried to sell me some Q boxes. She seemed pretty convincing, so I gave her my card details, but when she asked for my credit card password, I realised something was off. I immediately cancelled my card, rang Sky who confirmed they have no staff in South Africa, and then reported the whole thing to the police.

I've received numerous calls from this number previously, and yet again today, they rang me up. It seems they were attempting to persuade me to invest in some scheme or another. I made it quite clear that I wasn't interested and hung up the phone.

This number, 020030007916, seems to ring my phone nearly every working day! I've decided not to pick up as I wanted to do my homework here first. I've noted down at least eight calls from them, and I've probably deleted a fair few more since they tend to push other crucial calls out of view.
I strongly advise against answering - it's nothing but persistent spam!

I keep receiving calls from a company using the number 020 3000 7609, insisting they want to chat about a minor mishap I supposedly experienced, which is news to me! They’ve rung me two days straight, and this is just the latest in a string of five calls prior. Each time, I’ve explicitly asked them to remove my details from their list, yet they just won’t take the hint. It's becoming quite bothersome! What’s the best way to stop these calls for good? Every time I block one number, they seem to just ring from another, all clearly linked to the same company. It’s rather infuriating!
