9 yearsSo this person phoned me claiming my laptop had been hacked and wanted me to let them control it remotely. I told them to ring back when my partner was around as I didn’t really get what was going on. When they called again, they spoke to my partner and asked for the same thing, but he just said no. Then, they started saying I was sending and receiving emails linked to terrorist groups like ISIS! They threatened to cancel my Windows licence if we didn’t give them access. Honestly, don’t fall for it - it’s a total scam!ISIS9 yearsOn 31/1/18, I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from Microsoft and that my computer was hacked. She asked if I was sat at my PC, but I told her no cos I was driving at the time. She rang me back a few times, and when I was playing Call of Duty on my Xbox, I just left the phone by the telly. She kept calling around four times, seemed like she really enjoyed the sound of the gunshots lol!Microsoft9 yearsOn the 1st of Feb 2018, I got a call from a lady using this number. She told me pretty much what others have mentioned: that my computer was hacked and my licence got blocked. She wanted to know if I was near my computer then, but I told her no. She then wanted to ring me back the following day, and I agreed but told her my phone probably wouldn’t be turned on.9 yearsGot a call from a young Indian woman who called herself Anna claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my account got cancelled. I told her straight up it was nonsense and ended the call. She rang a couple more times asking if I was sitting at my computer. I replied, "So you want me to enter some code to let you into my files and contacts?" She denied it, but I said, "That’s complete rubbish" and slammed down. Didn’t hear from her again after that.9 yearsJust a heads up everyone, got a call from this number earlier today saying they were from Microsoft.
