Someone rang claiming to do a life insurance check. I asked what info they had on me, and they mentioned an address I haven’t lived at for years - I didn’t correct them obviously. They’ve got no legit way of knowing who actually has life insurance, clearly just using outdated data hoping to catch someone who’s vulnerable. I told the bloke what he was doing was dodgy and that he should maybe learn up on GDPR and the ICO, he actually listened somewhat! Ha! They phoned again from another Runcorn number, 01928 639 950. Both numbers are blocked now.

Hard to catch what she was saying with that thick asian accent, but she said something about reviewing my insurance with Legal & General.
