I picked up the phone and some bloke with an English accent was chuckling away before he suddenly just ended the call.

At first it was just silence from some automated machine, and I was about to hang up after a few seconds when someone finally picked up. It turned out to be one of those random scam calls about insurance. The person on the other end had dreadful English and the connection was awful. I could barely understand a word they were saying. Told them straight up to stop wasting their time and delete my number from their records. Honestly, why on earth would anyone bother with someone who can’t even talk properly?

I got a call from some bloke saying he was from Life Review, and he even mentioned an old address of mine. Quite sketchy if you ask me.

Had a call from some scammer claiming to be from life review, but they messed up and got my name totally wrong. They accused me of cold calling illegally or something daft like that. I just blocked the number and reported it to the ICO straight away.

No definite location shown, got around 49 hits, just one comment and no texts. Looks like a scam to me.

I’m not sure if it was a scam or not, but I had to pick up the phone like 3 or 4 times before anyone actually said anything, and that was just as I was about to hang up.

I got a call on our business number from someone wanting to speak to the director. When I told him he wasn’t in, he asked if I was the director’s wife. After I said no, he jokingly asked if I was the burglar or something, then just laughed and ended the call. What a muppet!

Some guy with an accent said he was from HMRE or something, but I stopped him straight away before he got a chance to pull any dodgy scam on me.
