I told the caller they were pretty shady, ringing up people out of the blue to scam them, which made her start swearing at me. I ended the call straight away. She rang me back a couple more times, and each time I told her to piss off. When she called again, I said I’d report her number to the cops for harassment, and thankfully she didn’t phone again. It really worries me how folks with autism or dementia might not see through these dodgy calls.

I looked up the number and it turns out it’s registered to a fencing firm in Runcorn, Cheshire, which makes no sense at all - why on earth would a fencing company be interested in life insurance?!

I asked her a few times which company she was representing, only for her to eventually say Aviva.
