That call was a total scam, felt like they were just trying to trick me. Definitely not legit, felt dodgy from the start.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Windows, saying they needed to discuss my computer. I told them straight up, “Not on your life!” and promptly ended the call.

Had a call from a guy with an Asian accent who claimed my Windows PC was full of viruses or something. He told me to check my computer right away. When I just said “oh yeah”, he just ended the call. Tried calling back but apparently I’d get charged for that, so I didn’t bother. Feels like that’s the whole trick - get you to ring back and then they charge you. 15/3/18 15.33

On Friday afternoon, I got a call from someone with an Indian accent who said his name was Charlie and claimed he was from Microsoft Windows, saying there was an issue with my computer. I told him straight away that I don’t own a computer and ended the call. Normally, I'd mess around with these types for a while but didn’t fancy wasting my time this time. Then, they called back yesterday morning and again this morning at about 08:50, but when I answered there was silence, then they just hung up.

They rang just as I was waking up around 8 in the morning and then just dropped the call immediately.

some guy named andrew with an indian accent rang me saying he was from microsoft windows and had found an error on my computer. i told him i’m not sure how that could happen, then he just ended the call! so rude, honestly. now, who’s gonna sort out my PC? unbelievable!
