I just hung up straight away and after that, the number kept ringing my phone like once or twice every hour all day. The next day they started again but using a different number, something like 0192233032. I picked up at last and it was the usual 'TPS' scam call. I politely told them I’m not interested and after that the calls finally stopped.

Got calls every half hour today (13/3/18) from 10.33am onward, but the phone never actually rang thanks to BT Call Guardian blocking it. The caller never said who they were or left any message. If the phone had kept ringing, it would've felt like proper harassment!

Had about 9 missed calls from them today between 10am and 4.30pm - so I just blocked the number. Can’t wait to see what number these so-called 'Telephone Preference' folks ring me from tomorrow. Yesterday it was some Leighton Buzzard code, today it’s Walsall!

Got about 5 calls today, quite annoying tbh. They have no clue that their number is all over the web. I wonder if the TPS actually does anything about this, probably not, but fingers crossed. Someone should get in touch with Martin Lewis, maybe he’d help call out these dodgy callers. Isn’t OFCOM supposed to handle this kinda thing? Anyone got any idea?

Got a call from someone pretending to be from the telephone preference service. First time a guy called himself "Sam". I just hung up. Then he rang back two mins later, this time said his name was Michael, but same firm. I listened till he started asking for my credit card details, then I ended the call. This morning alone, I’ve had three calls from so-called companies like Talk Talk or some accident claim service, but it’s pure nonsense. They all sound like scammers with some Canadian Asian accent, trying to trick you. None of it is legit. Honestly, we ought to get together and write to our MPs and even the Prime Minister, demanding action against these crooks. Had a load of calls from Asian scammers in Canada pretending they're from the Telephone preference scheme - three times today and five times yesterday! When will the government take some proper action against these crooks? They all seem to be operating from the same spot but now they've started using UK numbers to trick us.
